brilliantWe used them to plug all the holes.
Polished bronze really looks great on plate. It looks like the suit has just been made and polished up. Like a new car. The black and green you later posted also looks good. Others...not so much
Full plate, Polished Bronze and Glossy Blue.
No you are not the only one Woodsman!I'm probably the only person who finds the amount of personal bashing of the devs and artists that you do annoying, and I'm probably breaking a bunch of Stratics rules for calling you out, but I don't care.
And I agree again! I think this is a great idea. More shard to shard interaction.i agree, keep AN arena on its own shard, that way we can duel people from other shards..
just copy a char to it like TC and then duel away..
dont make that shard TC tho, that way they cant change skills and such.
gotta use what you brought.
For the char you copy, go into the files for the account and copy the macro file into the char folder on TC/SotD/Arenas. Easy peasy. (obviously dont have UO open when you do it)And I agree again! I think this is a great idea. More shard to shard interaction.
1 arena server that all other servers go to for it. Though the process of character copy might be a bit arduous. How long does it take? Would be best if it can be instantaneous. Not to mention you'd want all your macros and setup to be the same by default. Is character copy that good?
Interesting. Can you talk about the process at all? I'm curious to know how it works. I would have thought that you could just make the pieces the right size, clean them up a bit after rendering, and then plug them in the game. The process we put them through brings them up to proper height.

I love the blue . I'll take all the blue during that month ;P.Polished bronze really looks great on plate. It looks like the suit has just been made and polished up. Like a new car. The black and green you later posted also looks good. Others...not so much
Ya the dyes are way overpriced. You'd have to be a hard core fashion zealot to give up 2 1/2 bless deeds to dye one item. Not saying that it's bad to do that, but these should have 50 charges for 250k points. Or 5k for 1 charge,G.V.P if i had the millions of points some do I would gladly sell it on to you but I don't play chessie or have anywhere near the required points
Damn. Adding more blurry to the Classic Client.Thanks to Dermott of LS for points solution;
Full plate, "Deep Violet" and "Black and Green"
I wonder why the necromancer's arena near doom has not been used on this system... This building seems to be useless from the beginning...The arenas are located in the Lost Lands (both facets), Haven, and Ocllo.
The Devs would like to know where that is....I wonder why the necromancer's arena near doom has not been used on this system... This building seems to be useless from the beginning...The arenas are located in the Lost Lands (both facets), Haven, and Ocllo.
Probably would be better to take it down and make a big multi-storey car park instead
Another nice idea would be to add the Jhelom dueling pit in the arena system
My guildmates have also mentioned the necromancer arena for something like this.I wonder why the necromancer's arena near doom has not been used on this system... This building seems to be useless from the beginning...

The glossy blue is nice! The purple is almost too much, but its a nice color for small things I suppose, just not whole suits lol
Full plate, Polished Bronze and Glossy Blue.
Hey! Zym still exists! I knew somebody had to be keeping Rivendell in existence.Interesting. Can you talk about the process at all? I'm curious to know how it works. I would have thought that you could just make the pieces the right size, clean them up a bit after rendering, and then plug them in the game.
Thanks!
Well, I can't go into too much detail at the moment, but the thing is that isometric projection is easy in 3D getting oblique projection is a little trickier. When I first started coming up with a 3D template for the wall pieces, it was a LOT of trial and error, getting the oblique projection causes a lot of stretching, and we compensate by making the walls shorter.Interesting. Can you talk about the process at all? I'm curious to know how it works. I would have thought that you could just make the pieces the right size, clean them up a bit after rendering, and then plug them in the game.
Thanks!
It seems people would rather have their special armor any assortment of colors they can get but heaven forbid they open up to dyeing animals. lolI see no reason why everyone is entitled to get every dye. This isn't AOS where you were wearing a yellow breastplate and blue helmet and looked ridiculous. They clearly want to suck a crapload of points out of the system.
Thanks again! Just two quick questions related to my pet peeves (sorry!):Here are the promised additions to the Publish Notes of version 73.0:
Arenas Go Live
The arenas located throughout the lands will go live with this publish. The arenas are located in the Lost Lands (both facets), Haven, and Ocllo. The following additions and changes have been made after the public testing done on the arenas test shard:
Moving forward, we will continue to accept feedback and use it to make further improvements to the arenas. In an future publish, look for the addition of a wagering system.
- Match hosts may now choose to allow or disallow Field Spells
- Match hosts now choose to allow or disallow potions, or to allow only non-healing potions
- A bug that caused some summoned creatures to attack their owner in an arena match has been fixed
New High Resolution Terrian Art
As I am sure most of you have noticed the difference in the terrain in the Enhanced Client. Just letting everyone know this is just the first of many more to come. Next publish we will be updating the Wall tile art, I think everyone will really appreciate the new look. Below are a few pictures of what is coming:
We are looking foward to getting your feedback!

I tried the new dyes on my garg cloth armors, and Glassy Blue looks awesome.
Shiny blue wings flipping!
Purple also not bad. Somehow Green/Brown did not look as good as platemails do on paperdoll or avatar. Too dark.
