There are two fields that I know of, though for some reason I think there might be a undiscovered third - not sure about that. No one seems to know about them, and I have them all to myself.

The first field is next to the farm house east of the Sacrifice gate in Ilshenar, which spawns exactly TWO pumpkins. The second field is known as the Cyclops Garden, east of Valor gate, and spawns exactly ONE pumpkin. OH, and no direct recall to the fields. That is why it's so hard to spawn a paragon pumpkin.

This would be a killer time consumer if you didn't have a necro to do these pumpkin patches with. You'd have to recall out and then run all the way back to then pull 2 pumpkins to only repeat the process again...

Summon a creature, kill it, and place pumpkins on corpse.

Make one every 1 min to have a fast respawn rate and toss pumpkins on corpse thats decaying the soonest.

Where are the other two fields?

Try Savage Encampment south of Exodus Lair in Central Ilshenar. There are two "patches" there - both of which have 12 pumpkins (4 per plot x 3 plots).

Yeah, actually they would. Shame though. Or maybe even a special drop on PK Pumpkins, like a Ghoul's Staff of Fright or some such.

Grats! I was lucky and got a mask, but I did it for the challenge. In my opinion, a regular pumpkin should be as tough as the Paragon Killer Pumpkins, which isn't that tough. ~2500 hit points and about 3-4 minutes with an untrained cu sidhe isn't that tough.

Ya this was brought up days ago. Both the paragon I killed in the savage fields had no mask. Without the chest chance would be nice if the paragon was in the mask title at least.

I think most folks are going by the old "If the normal critter type don't drop a map then it ain't gonna drop a chest" line of thiniking. While that is normally the way it works, I know the old style Mongbat {not the Greater Mongbats we have now} did drop a para chest, all be it a really rare occasion, but they did not carry maps. So, I still hold out hope the Killers will drop one. *shrugs*

I have killed 6 of them. 3 masks total and no chests. They have about 400ish gold and a few extra junk items.

They got the paragon mongbats to drop chests by giving regular mongbats a level 0 map (which doesn't exist so therefore doesn't drop.)
