...why don't you come out and give someone else a chance?!?!

As most of my income is done from treasurehunting, I happen to love the Dark Guardians Room. They always have maps, every time. Most of them are lower end, but it's still a mainstay for me.
So I popped in and saw that someone else was there. With his several tamed bouras tucked in the corners, and the Dark Guardians room looks like an undead Jonestown, post-Koolaid-break.
Okie doke, sez I. Recall out.
I come back several hours later. He's still there. Ok, I recall out.
I work for home, and for myself, so I have the luxury of popping into UO during daytime hours whenever I want (my boss is cool with this
).
I have checked on that room probably over 20 times in the past week. He's ALWAYS THERE. Well, let me rephrase that, there was one golden moment last Wednesday where he was gone, but he's there pretty much around the clock.
I'm guessing homeboy is collecting maps for the turn-in. These maps aren't that great and I'm usually good for a month or so after farming the room for an hour or two.
Anyway, I have always been of the mindset that, if you are in a non-Fel Facet, and someone is there first, you're just gonna have to come back later when he's done. Confronting them about it never has a good outcome, and asking to "share" the spawn with a camper is usually laughed at.
I think they need to put a mechanic to stop this kind of insane round-the-clock farming. The monsters need to get tougher if they stick around too long. Again, I have no problem with someone camping a spawn -- it's part of the game, after all. I DO have a problem with someone camping a unique spawn, by himself, for literally days on end.
The worst instance of this I saw was the Halloween Event where we had to kill some tetherans (I think) to get some spinnerets to complete the quest. There was this total jerk there who was claiming the whole spawn as his own, sabotaging other players' attempts to get the spinnerets, and yelling at them for, heaven forbid, trying to complete the quest one time. This was a quest you could only do once, so they were no good to him.
Or were they?
The jackass was farming them to SELL on his vendor. So he was trying to drum up business by being ugly to players and denying them a chance to get the item, but dropping runes to his vendor where he was selling the item by the dozens.
People like that need to be banned from this game.
