Any speculation on Halloween Event?

In any event, back to the topic at hand: I like the ghost ship, but I don't have a ship to go out and fight them with. Do they land or launch crews of ghost pirates onto shore?

You know what would also be really scary? Dead Magic for Halloween! No magic works in all of Britannia! Weapons and armor lose thier special properties. The moongates get hazy/wobbley and when you step through, you end up someplace random instead of choosing. Sometimes you might get stuck... between the moongates, in a weird ghostly zone with all kinds of phantom enemies to fight.... Magical flux! Scary especially since everyone is so dependent on magic. It would all be temporary of course, right?

I wouldn't mind seeing Gremlins or something invade as well, setting traps in town and stealing random stuff from peoples backpacks. Maybe popping up and paralyzing you right in the middle of a fight with an ogre or something. that would be kind of interesting as well!

This is an awesome idea, bit of wobbly magic and moongates going haywire.

I really like Ned's dead magic idea. Its been done in a few story lines and it is always exciting plus it is kind of going back to how the game used to be.

Personally I'd like to see vampires! We never really had anything of the sort before aside from the necromancy spell. At least not that I can recall.

To be accurate for UO we'll want to see sampires running around instead of vampires.

The masks were added a few publishes back (March-ish?), but have not been seen in game. Decent probability of Halloween item.

Dragon amd bunny.. Added same time as the masks I think, have not been seen in game. Likely future holiday items.

Last item... Can't tell what it is, as the image is too compressed/small.

Actually there's a full set of what seem to be shard-emblem wall shields in the middle of all the boat pieces that i've not seen anyone else pick up on and I only noticed myself a few days ago.

And that last image is the monster statuette for the long-dropped Chariot addition from Third Dawn. The first one is the new treasure chest that you dig up from treasure maps (I believe), and the second is one of the buoys from around the Sea market. The rabbit and dragon dolls (?) have been around a few months, but haven't been used. Masks were added within the last patch or two.

they need to bring back the conjurer's stuff.. i need a couple more robes..

This! And Trinkets too! I think it is a shame these don't drop anymore except for maybe a garb from a gold crystal held for 2 yrs. These arties should come back every Halloween or get added to the Doom drops. There should also be a Conjurer's Sash, Conjurer's Earrings, Conjurer's Boots, Conjurer's Apron and so on with different mods.

Well, the former. Sometimes the latter. But since I work in the Pacific Northwest, I work those hours so that I'm available when the team in Fairfax gets in. So I keep the East Coast hours so they have me around if they need me.

Move large pumpkins to make them spawn.

Loot is junk + wrapped candy and the possibility of a 'daemon mask painted by X" or an 'evil clown mask hand pained by X'. Where X is a random Dev or EM name.

There are a few different faces that can be above the pumpkins.

Out of my first 4 Jack O lanterns, 2 were yours, and they were the first 2 masks I got (demon and evil clown).

I like how there is at least two different animations for the killer pumpkins (one for the evil clown, one for the demon). Is there a Plague Mask version, as well? And, do the animations reflect the mask type the pumpkin may have, or can a clown-faced one give a demon or plague mask?

I had a GrimmOmen pumpkin but no mask *frowns* I really like the animation on the killer pumpkin (that is 2d)..I might pop over and see what they look like on EC. Nice job!
