New Honesty virtue and finding items to hand in.

Is it just my bad luck or is anyone else not finding items to hand in for honesty gains? I have been traveling the lands upward of a couple hours a night from the time the new virtue went live. I have only found one item to hand in in about 6 hours of "hunting". Any tips on what I could be doing wrong? Oh and does all lands spawn items to hand in? Ter Mur? Ilsh?

I have been running between the virtue cities in trammel and fel. There are not many as it seems the spawn rate is very very low, but they are out there. So far I have entertained myself by training forensic so at least I feel like I am moving forward.

I have followed the tips here and been tracing most all the coastlines. I did find one on the coast south of Skara. Besides that nada. I kept telling myself that there was someone 2 screens ahead of me that was finding them all.

Also I've noticed that if there are alot of player houses around, I won't find any.

I find alot on Fire Island in Fel on Origin. I did a run on Napa last night and there are TONS of houses there, and I didn't find one lost item.

Same with Moonglow, which is also a good place to find them on Origin, but not one on Napa.

I am going to do a few more runs on other shards today to see what I can find, it's interesting...and no guard zones that is correct I don't think I've found one inside a guard zone.

I`ve scoured the coastlines from here to there on SP and haven`t found a single item. After about an hour it just seems pointless,crap shouldn`t be that hard to find.

I am beginning to think that in order for the items to spawn...you have to kill spawn and pick up the random reagent spawn.

It is just a theory, but after hours of just searching, I sat there and killed some spawn and collected leather and picked up reagents in a wooded area, and ended up with 2 of these honesty items spawning in that area. Still about an hour worth of time though.

Do they honestly think running around for hours on end trying to find crap on the ground is fun? We are the biggest groups of collective jerks for paying $13.99/month for this crap.

I could get a job at Wal*Mart that is more entertaining that this and it would pay ME.

Ah yes....the current Devlopers love of grinding out time and effort for meager rewards....

I just begun doing these runs a few nights ago.. Looking in places that have been posted here on the boards (out of guard zone, shore lines, away from houses) and seem to pick up about 15 to 25 in about an hour or so. I hit both fel and tram spots. Currently at 6 bubbles.

The hardest part is locating the NPC that has lost their item. If I dont see them during one run through their town I just drop the item in the Lost and Found box.

Keep at it, they are out there!

The lost items are in towns and some dungeon areas along the coast lines, out of guardzone, and not in areas where there is player housing. Check Jhelom, Skara, Fire Island, Fire Isle, Destard, Haven, etc... I haven't found as many as some have, but I have 4 dots.

OK I am confused! They specifically said the items won't be in dungeons. And aren't towns in the guard zone? so how can they be in towns???


I am not finding many items either..they really need to bump up the spawn...Please!!!!

So basically they are everywhere but the numbers are kinda iffy? I am not looking forward to searching for these things after work. Why do they always have to be so vague in the notes.

Items are NOT in guardzone but the people who you need to return them to ARE. I think for every yellow Peasant / Noble out there in the main towns there is a matching lost item. I have returned an item to an NPC that had been wandering for 10+ hours before. When i did that i had found the item in a very out of the way area or a new location i had not previously gone before. I have yet to return an item to someone in Vesper, Cove, Nu'jelm, or Serpent's Hold.
