Warning about trash barrels in home

I have tested this i placed a trash barrel in my house and dumped black rock in it and waited the 3 minutes and got 0 points went to town and dropped a br in one by bank and got points!

I have found the house trash needs to be secured before it works

I also dumped a few test items, and left the subserver my house is on....got no pts, so stay home for 3 minutes after trashing.

How do you know what your running point total is without turning in a new item?

Find a clean-up officer in most of the towns, they are usually wandering around the bank areas, though not in Luna.

This happened to me too, but the points appeared a few minutes later. I think it works fine, just on some delay

if the trash barrel in my house is not locked down and or secure it gives me no points

try making the access anyone this is what i had to do! also you have to wait 3 min from the last item dropped in

Not sure granting access to anyone is such a hot idea. Anyone can waltz in and take your items before they are deleted.

try to re-place it... I've just received 150k pt from my trash barrel...

I did it will only work in my house if i secure it (not sure if security needs set )

It will take a while sometimes to get points so dont worry you will get the points. I waited 5min to get points for items I trashed. They will come. But I guess its because of the delay sometimes

I tossed two 120 powerscrolls in my trash barrel at home and went to Britain to get my archery butte when the barrel emptied. I'd been about 3.5k shy of enough points. The point total never rose to show the 5k from the powerscrolls. I went home, the barrel was empty, tossed in two more items and waited there until they were gone. The point total rose to show what I had just tossed in and the two powerscrolls points as well.

House is in Malas, went to Britain bank. Useful info I imagine...

i had that too. CC crashed after putting in 50 items, then 'sync' error trying to get back in.
once i got in and checked my total, i had not received anything.
5mins later, i got updated notification w/ correct total
