Anyone else no longer able to connect?

Can't connect on the game since patch... My brother can connect on my account from his machine no problem... Tested everything, closing all other apps etc.

Can't play anymore -_-

I got stuck on the Verifying account screen, X'd out of it and re-logged in just fine.

Had a mild heart attack but everything is fine for me.

It sticks at verifying for me too just X it and then log in again and it works....another dodgy patch

For me, it's just saying "Cannot connect" instantly like it's not even trying. Rarely it will say "There is an error with Origin communicating with the servers, please restart and try again." or something like that.

In the CC, I just sit at the verifying account window forever.

Edit: I can now log in using the CC.

The first poster says that he can access his account fine from another machine - wouldn't this suggest that the problem isn't the server, but the patch corrupting something? I tried "Perform full file check" on the patcher hoping it would fix the issue, but it didn't

Try the X at bottom of verifying window and then log again it works ok for me that way

I had this same problem and nothing I did fixed it. Then I searched around and by chance found an old thread mentioning to reset your modem/router, and voila..fixed it for me! Not sure if it will help you guys but it's worth a shot.

Hi guys,

We are having the same problem with a Vista OS but not the windows 7, can you guys give me any other details?

Mesanna im on Windows 7 and cant log in on classic client. Goes verifying and then stalls. If I click the X at verifying and immediately log in again it will go through. Wasn't happening before I updated with todays Patch.

I found after i put my p/w in it would go to verify and hang, so i hit the back button and hit connect and it connected strait away 2nd time without hesitation. Hope this helps
