Did anyone figure out how to edit the Credit Card info with the new Account Management system ?

Namely, but it is just an example, the expiration date of the credit card which, from time to time, need to be updated.

I was not able to find out how.

Well, hope you find out popps ... I have not seen any info about that.
What >I< did, was hit the cancel sub button.
and set a 2week recurring reminder to go and look that the info/sub Remains removed

I have zero confidence that it will.
I have zero concern if it does re-appear ...
already rolled a new set of cards and sent the old numbers and control of that e-mail(for monitoring purposes) to a CC fraud/identity theft service.

You take care old man ...

I couldn't find one when I attempted to care. All my accounts are billed during this month(go figure) and my CC dates changed. So the predicament is that I cannot edit the current CC save on file nor delete it and I cannot add another CC to the account with the same number. So I am unable to give accurate billing information. This is EA's problem and I refuse to call in and fix something that a high school programmer should have forseen. This has to be one of the most ridiculously technology incompetant companies I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with.

??? well theres 2 buttons on that page

one for gametime code

one for credit/debit card

if i was wnting to use a cc i would pick the later and simply add your cc details when prompted to do so.

if i was using a gametime code...far cheaper..i would use the first option then enter the code when prompted to do so

THP As far as I know...that only allows you to put in your info..once your info is IN the system, there's no way to go back and look at it.

I'm unsure though as I don't have ANY payment details on my account as of right now, but I've seen many other people post that they cannot go in and check their info...to see when their CC expires, to see when they need to re-pay, to change billing address...things like that.

If there IS a way to do it, I'd like to know how BEFORE I put billing info in.

I can only tell for my (very little) experience with the new system, not sure if it is being any different for other players (I say this, because, for example, I saw an image posted by someone of an Account management page that carries on the top right corner a box to select languages and I have no such box on my page so, apparently, there may be differences...).

After I linked the account, selected it and went to billing and selected the 6 months plan (crossing my fingers that I do not get double billed.....), I got sent to another page for the credit card payment.

This page had only 2 buttons, very large buttons, one to select for payment my existing Credit Card, the one that I have used so far, and the other button for a brand new Cradit Card.

Of course, I pressed the button for my existing existing Credit Card to be billed whenever my current paid for time will expire (which, if I got it right, will be on October 4) but that was it. There was nothing else I could do other than press a button. Nothing that I could see to edit my Credit Card informations or, for example, update the CC expiration time......

Popps, on page 3 of the account activation guide that Kai Schober mentions in today's UO Herald announcement regarding code activation (http://mythicmktg.fileburst.net/uo/uoherald/other/AccountActivation.pdf), there's a short section near the bottom of the page that includes the information below.

If you need to edit or change your Credit Card information in the future, you can do so by selecting "Subscribe" and entering the information, or contact Billing Support by phone:

i. Inside the United States: 1-866-543-5435
ii. Outside the United States: 1-650-628-4306

This information is in the section of the guide talking about the game account area of the account management system Therefore, I believe this means you can edit the credit card information attached to each account if, for example, you used different cards for different accounts. I suspect changing the credit card information through one account probably changes it for all other accounts attached to that card, but there's nothing that explicitly says that.

Well, that is what I did, I hit the SUBSCRIBE button and then selected the 6 months payment and then was sent to a page with 2 large buttons one to select my existing CC (which I obviously pressed) and the other button in case I had a new CC to select.

There was nowhere that I could see to access my credit card info, I could ONLY press one of those 2 buttons to say whether my existing CC or a new one was to be billed but nowhere could I find a way to EDIT my existing CC info.

So, I am not sure how the UOHerald info might help. I went there, and could find no way to edit CC info.......

Of course it can be done over the phone, I don't doubt that, but it might be time consuming and some customers might not want to provide CC info over the phone so, having an option to do it online for some could be much more preferable.

Your question was how to edit it, not see it. And that is what Tina answered for you. You click the button for a new CC and enter your stuff in there. You can edit it by re-entering it.

You mean, in order to edit my existing Credit Card I must pretend that I have a new one and enter ALL OF THE DATA for my existing Credit Card again using the new card button and write ALL anew rather than using the existing card button and just merely change what needs be changed ?

Does it make much sense ??

I mean, I just need to update the expiration date of my existing Credit Card and I have to re-enter ALL info as if it was a brand new card ??

Excuse me ?

This does not make much sense to me.......
I cannot see this as an OK procedure, sorry.........

Christ popps. Learn to relax, seriously. You're way to anal about every little tidbit. And yes it does make sense. At the moment that's how you do it. Live with it for now until it's all done!

You're right, Popps. It doesn't work in the accounting system the way the writeup says it should. Maybe it does for Warhammer Online, but I tried it just now (again) with UO hoping things had improved so there's more functionality, and it's still impossible as far as I can tell to change the cc info attached to an active subscription or to edit stored cc information. Maybe when the cc expiration date draws near or has passed, there will be more options available to the player with an expired card.

I can tell you it does not. My CC for my accounts has expired. All the popps bashers can rest assured he is not the only person unable to accomplish what would be a simple task at any other online payment system.

Also, as for entering all the CC info again in order to fix the problem does not work(as I stated in my original post of this thread) as it says that card number is already on file.

However it's always easier to just bash popps rather than listen. Whether that is his fault or not is for another soon to be locked thread...
