Animated Legs of the Insane Tinker?

On UOGuide it says that they drop from both the Wyvern [Renowned] and the Devourer of souls [Renowned].

On Stratics it just says from the Wyvern [Renowned].


So, my question is, has anyone here got them from the Devourer of souls [Renowned]?

Devourer of souls does drop the legs. I picked up a pair about 3 months ago.

Yeah, im not saying they dont spawn at the wyvern, but I personally have done 50 and havent gotten one. Switched to devourer and 3rd one in got one.

I hadn't gotten one in around 80 at the Devourer.

I gave up and bought a pair.

Funny.. after reading this thread I went and tried it. Got the drop on my first kill. WAY easier spawn and I can farm essence of achievement as I go... my new place.

Please... you will make me cry! I've done that spawn at least 100 times.

Yeah, the RNG sucks. Wish it was more like the Doom drop system. Where you'll get one eventually.

Good stats, specifically the +10% ssi.

DEx +5,ssi 10, di 10 , are the main attractions to find all 3 of those on 1 item is whats really special (except for when imbuing came out you could create some items like this dayamos helm for ex)

Yeah the main thing is the 10% SSI, without that I don't really see ppl using it. Main drawback on it though is that its not medeable. If it were, I think every dexxer would be wearing them (or want to be).

If your fighting style depends on spamming lots of chiv stuff and weapon specials then you need all the mana and mana regen you can get, so medable armor is still useful to warriors.

For PvP, yeah it's useful. For PvM it's a good waste of a skill though.

Medable armor makes a huge difference in PvM. As noted, especially on mana heavy templates such as a Paladin. Passive mana regeneration is effected by med vs. non-med armor. When you are only dealing with 30-50 mana pts good passive med can be important.

Mana leech/wraith form. I wear plate from time to time just for kicks... doesn't make much difference really.
