So what is the deal with using stairs to cast into houses????

Can someone from the dev team comment about this latest bug? It has become beyond absurd, on some shards a player cannot be in a house for a second without some person jumping on stairs and casting what ever spell they feel into a private house, come on.

Since hailstorm can be cast pretty much through walls, I have asked and apparently the official word is this is a legal use of area effect spells.
If direct damage spells are used it's considered an exploit and can be paged for.
I have no idea why it makes a difference.

Try killing somebody flagged to you that can run north of fel yew moongate and have a macro set to automatically double click the rope and hop on there boat. With boats all around theres so you can't even get to them... Now that's silly no doubt -_-.

I don't know if it is a bug, but I do recall in Feb 2006 hanging around Fel Yew and watching "house fighting". Pretty hilarious to watch person(s) hanging out on steps and trying to pew pew someone(s) inside a house. The people inside knew exactly how close they could get and vice versa. I dont believe the people inside house could engage.
