On my older computer yes.. couple times a day still.
On my newer one no.. seems to running better actually. Ran around Doom for about three hours with no problems at all. Even the jerkiness seems lessened.
Pretty much all I do with the older one is fish.. it's in the living room and then I can fish while I watch tv. But even just fishing and sailing around it drops to desktop 2 or 3 times a day.

Still crashing. I don't see a pattern in my crashes, it just looks to happen sometimes.
sailing related. and if not a crash I find myself ported to my house doorstep when saling. beetle stays with boat and mans the cannons vs any water eli.

still crashing to desktop near fel yew gate. happens to me at random. one time i remember crashing right after i had *just* started up, so it couldn't have been for staying on too long.

I crash fairly regularly in the classic client when recalling or gating (public or self/player-casted gate) across server lines. I'd really love to see this fixed but I'm not holding my breath.

The last EC fix has improved my experience - Today, I've played around in Luna today, recalling in, doing laps around Luna, etc., and have done things that could consistently crash me to desktop in the past. There were a few times where I stuttered and I thought it was headed for a crash, but everything caught up and went back to normal.

Everytime i try to use my Magincia stall vendor it crashes my client....

May i ask what your cache settings are? Maybe a higher or lower cache cause problems i dont know.

I crashed three times yesterday, each time after playing for about 5 minutes. Twice while running along the road from Grizelda to Yew, once after recalling and entering the entrance to Hythloth.
This is becomming extremely frustrating because I get a crash at least once a day.

I'll look when I get on that computer. I believe I changed them a few months ago from the default.
It might be good if everybody using the EC posted their cache settings and whether they are crashing or not.
I unsubbed my accounts month ago. We players of ultima put up with enough as far as
bugs and other issues. Very little gets done to fix problems and we stick with it.
As PvP is my main draw in this game crashing basically makes the game unplayable for me.
I will not pay for random 20-40 minute game sessions.
How annoyed will the rest of you get (including those that dont read or post on stratics)
before you all unsub as well, and how many accounts does each person have that EA will
lose.

My disk cache is set to 0. I did this a while back on the advice of somebody in the EC forum, and with this last update, things are much improved - I just did a few laps around Luna and Magincia and only stuttered, but never crashed. I could always count on those to crash me in the past.
The stuttering was probably due more to the fact that my connection is 1.5 Mbps instead of my normal 24 Mbps.
I did recently update CrossOver Mac to version 10.1.2.

I've taken years-long breaks before. From what I've seen and experienced lately they've finally started putting more effort into bug fixing, which is a nice change.
I have found myself getting bored and flirting with suspending a few of my accounts, but I'll keep at least one or two accounts going - the next month or two should finally see the first of the EC graphics updates.
If they blow the EC graphics updates though, I don't see myself hanging around after that. I might keep an account open through the 15th anniversary, but that would be it.
have been for a few pubs now, when it first started happening i mentioned it to my guild who was having same trouble with their own clients, i just forget might be like not this pvp publish but one with gothic theme pack stuff it started hard core.

I started noticing more crashes after this publish, could be a coincidence.. but am crashing a lot.
