Don't log on here that much anymore, but I just noticed that my post count, which I think was over 10K posts, is now showing less than 2K. Just curious, did something happen with the account post count statistics?

The only users who lost post counts during this recent incident were those who had joined prior to the big crash. Your join date was 2008, so your account was fortunately unaffected.
Uvtha, didn't you make a new Stratics user account after the 2008 crash? I know a lot of people did because their old account came over as "imported_X" for the user name following the data recovery process (which still show the posts counts from the old account). You can still search under those old user names in the database search function if you add the "imported_" part to the old account name.
Unless you asked an admin to adjust the post count on your new user account to reflect the ones on the old abandoned one, it started fresh at 0.
My account was one of those that wasn't recovered at all from the crash, and I was able to make the exact same user name I had before in the new database, but any of my posts made under the old account in threads that were recovered, show as "guest" because the user account wasn't recovered, and they can't be searched for by user name in the database search function.
Back when I made the new account, an admin manually adjusted my post count on the new account to reflect what was known as the last milestone for posts reached (9K) on the old, and the new account then started incrementing from that number rather than from 0. When the post count got reset to reflect the "actual" count associated with the new account recently, mine lost that 9K starting point. Petra has magically fixed it again for me again.
And yes, aside from the post count itself, I do realize that the fact that I even remember any of this, is a pretty good indicator that I've spent way too much time with this forum over the last 7 years.
