Since they kind of screwed us Sampires now, i was talking with a bunch of random people in gen chat and came up with some possible Temps

You can replace swords with any other wep skill:

120 Swords
120 Bush
115 Chiv (Just because 120 Chiv is really hard to train..)
116 Resists/Anat
99 Necro
90 Tactics (You can use skill items to get to 120, if you really want to)
60 Parry

120 Swords
120 Bush
115 Chiv
115 Tactics
99 Necro
91 Anat
60 Parry

Or you can go with Lynks Temp
120 Swords
105 Bush (15 on ring)
120 Tactics
120 anat
99 Necro
96 Chiv
60 Parry

So clearly, you could either go with reaping the benefits of higher chivalry, or more damage with higher tactics and anatomy.
Im honestly not sure if 90 tactics is that big of a difference than 120, if it is then i might have to revamp this thing.

Thoughts? Opinions? Suggestions?

Advice for the new publish:

Since lightning strike is now not as mana-efficient as armor ignore, 120 bushido has gone from required to optional. Bushido is only useful now either as a side-skill to parry or to gain perfection.

If your plan is to use it with perfection only (as parry's usefulness is debatable), then you can drop bushido to a lower level. At 111.2 bushido, you still get perfection in 9 consecutive hits. At 100.0 bushido, you get perfection in 10 consecutive hits. At 91.2 bushido, perfection comes after 11 consecutive hits.

Since a sampire really doesn't miss all that often against most opponents, losing that 1 or 2 hits to gain perfection becomes a real option (especially considering that a miss costs 30% perfection, which is 3 hits at 100 or 120 bushido, so nothing is lost in maintaining perfection, only in getting there)

This means that a template of:
120 melee
100 tactics
120 chivalry
100 bushido
80 parry
100 necromancy
100 anatomy (or spirit speak for gargoyles or resist for Niera/Doom)

... or something similar, becomes a realistic option.

Because of the new chivalry buff (not nerf, buff...), you may not even need slayer weapons any more (based on my interpretation the last numbers I've seen from Logrus on the TC forums, and not by testing) to hit that 300% DI.

It does mean that you suffer a whole lot on your parry ability, which is a hefty down side for some, and not a problem for others.

Against monsters without a slayer type (or fey slayer type), you'll wind up missing it.

The real difference is only about 30% DI from chivalry spells, which means without perfection or slayer weapons, max DI is still not likely.

For quite some time my template has been:
120 swords (or mace/fence as desired)
110 tact
110 bushido
100 anat
100 heal
100 necro
70 chiv

With soulstones I can swap in 100 resist or 100 parry in place of healing and/or anatomy. I have 10 skill points that are unused which had been planned for either tactics or bushido, but I'm going to let chiv raise to 80 for the time being. To this point I haven't noticed a dramatic difference. I think my max non-slayer DI with EoO is at 232% instead of 250% now. So far I've only done a few Rikki spawns (slayers) and a Paroxy (no slayer).

Wow. Thank you sir, i did not know about any of this, i probably am going to run that exact template you posted... Although idk if i can pain through getting to 120 chiv :\

I figure 100 chiv would do nicely too, which you can put into tactics to give yourself better armor ignores (but less bonus from consecrate weapon and enemy of one).

Or at 80 chiv, there would be no difference from current templates.

yeah. hmm. idk. It would be pretty hard to get to 120. and you lose, what, 10% on your DI increase from Conc. weapon? Maybe I could go to 110?
