Other than Darkfall I'm not sure of any completely sandbox games on the market today (no skill cap, can train every skill to 100; been awhile since UO allowed that). But even with the recent changes people can still mix skills in UO pretty well, just that pure templates were given a boost (and chivalry a reason to have more than 70 skill invested, with a better way of getting to 120 from 115 still on the backburner, I suppose...).Because people liked them.
Kinda like how people liked how in UO you could mix any skills you wanted.
UH HAWHAWHAWI think the OP is stating more that the Devs aren't listening to what the majority of the players want.
And deco, pvp, pvm and plant growing all go together in our game. If we don't at least try to speak up they continue to "adjust" things. Soon there will be a penalty for having Tailoring and Blacksmithy and Tinkering on the same template.
Ashen Empires is like that, and it's f2p.Other than Darkfall I'm not sure of any completely sandbox games on the market today (no skill cap, can train every skill to 100; been awhile since UO allowed that).
