the summons always target first the most powerfull mob in the area.I cast one of these near the toxic sliths in termur and it took out the blue healers..
why did one of these attack a blue healer?
on top of that it ignored the sliths
good job devs.. great testing..
According to UOGuide EVs target the mob w/ the most INT + MAGERY, Blade Spirits target the mob w/ the most STR + Tact (I would have thought DEX). Not sure about the Colossus though. I think people can live with this "bug" as long as it does armor ignores out the butt ;P.the summons always target first the most powerfull mob in the area.
There are also few differences between each summon, for example the blade spirits use to target first the melee enemies, the energy vortex goes first for the mages.
In your case, the blue healer is the most powerfull in the area so is the main target![]()
looks like it's using the vortex AI... however it's not a problem if you are smart enough to use it in the right wayAccording to UOGuide EVs target the mob w/ the most INT + MAGERY, Blade Spirits target the mob w/ the most STR + Tact (I would have thought DEX). Not a very well thought out assessment and "stab" at the dev's.I cast one of these near the toxic sliths in termur and it took out the blue healers..

The only real bug--well, there are two. Sometimes armor ignore animation/sound goes off on a miss, and sometimes there are invul creatures which summons will try to attack (like the "statues" on the whatchyacall Isle they opened recently, and the two "statues" at the end of Tomb of Kings). But yeah, after that...G Drag in a bottlelooks like it's using the vortex AI... however it's not a problem if you are smart enough to use it in the right way![]()
Yep, will attack blue npcs, like EVs and Blades will. Have to dispel them if possible in that situation to avoid karma loss/whack. Will not attack yellow (invul) except in some cases where they get lip locked to no effect due to invul (the statue jargon I was talking about). Def feel your annoyance though, esp. if you are human/elf on foot and you were counting on it taking care of the sliths and instead it was like, nah, how about that healer, hehe.first thing i didnt think any summons should attack a blue npc in a tram ruleset?
i swear ive casted EVs and they ignored the blue npcs and just attacked monsters.
second thing, this thing moved all the way across a screen to do it, while leaving the 5 or 6 sliths alone.. sorry im new to using RCs.. seems like a bug to me..
