Acid blood scars your weapon, but not the other?

Ok I have 1 Bokuto... acid blood scars this weapon, then I have another one that does not get scard at all... what gives?

From what I remember..if the weapon is spell-channeling it isn't effected by acid, not sure if they've changed that or not.

That's an odd discrepancy. All weps should take acid damage if they're going to take it at all :/.
