Perfect Sampire

Hello everybody,

I was in the process of creating a sampire couple of years ago when I quit. Now I have a good collection of skills on me and soulstones and some high end items, but not sure what changes took place while I was away and what template and outfit I should choose.

I have the following skills:
Bushido 120
Fencing 120
Focus 115
Anatomy 120
Tactics 118
Resist 117
Healing 120
Parry 120
Necro 99
Chivalry 71

The problem that I have is that I wouldnt want to bring 100+ skills down as almost all of them went up naturally as I played through the years rather than through macroing and I would hate to waste all the effort. This is especially true for Tactics, Anatomy, Healing and Resist. I guess I could sacrifice some Parry.

The items I have are as follows:
Crimson Cincture
M&S reading glasses
Jackal's collar
Ring of the vile
Fey Leggings
Rune Beetle Carapace
Conjurer's Trinket
Snake Skin boots
Leut. of Brit Royal Guard
Quiver of the infinity
Shrowd of the condemned

I don't have any decent weapon yet. I have 100 mln to spend if needed so I think I am all set to create a perfect sampire. Would appreciate any advice as to how I should complete this template and suit.
Thanks!

Thanks, but I wasn't planning on becoming an elf. Or is it a must for an effective sampire these days?

All personal preference, but I prefer elf.

If you don't go elf, then the idea is still the same but you would want to go factions and get the morph earrings.

The best sampire suits have heartwood pieces. There are ways to do it with fewer than I used.. but I've yet to see a better suit without them.

the 20 bonus mana and no need to imbue nightsight on a pc of armor is nice too being an elf.

You dont need to imbue nightsight as a human, i run fine with nightsight pots.
Joat 20 magery to cast it in a real emergency.

These days it comes down to 20 more mana on elf vs being able to carry more and jack of all trades for some useful skills on a human. Or that someone just hates to be an elf.

How do you train Bushido? Evasion takes 17 seconds in between casts, and lightning strike doesn't seem to do anything for me. Do you have to be fighting something in order for lightning strike to work? I'm almost done building my skills, currently:

100/120 Swords
120/120 Parry
90.1/120 Bushido
100/100 Tactics
100/100 Necro
100/100 Anatomy or Resist
60 Chivalry

Also, is anyone on Napa Valley that can help me build a suit?
Thanks

Yes, you have to be attacking something for lightning strike to work. My recommendation is to go to cavern of the discarded and just chain momentum strike on the ratmen. You'll gain swords and bushido at the same time. Other people will tell you to be unguilded, tame a dog in trammel, attack it inside town, and spam lightning strike.

I have a question abou necromancy. I have read that some people only raise their skill to 44-45 then use Midnight Bracers, Bloodwood Spirit, & jewelry to bring their skill to 99-100 in order to cast Vampiric Embrace. Then they put on their normal gear. So my questions is, does the amount of life you leech have any bearing on your actual skill? I.e. Would I leech more life with 100 Necro??

they nerfed this a long time ago, you need to raise it too gm or higher(105 is best) or use to jewelry, the bracers dont fit into your suit otherwise.

I wouldn't go above GM necromancy. I, and quite a few other people, just use 99 (the minimum for Vampiric Embrace) and put the extra 1 point into Chivalry or Parry.

Because it makes such a huge difference, lol

JOAT and casting works, but I finally gave in and purchased Nocturne Earrings.
