Yeah… sadly so… no matter what the poll offers in options, there always has to be some contingency that has to fight and claw for options not on the table. It's like going into an all seafood restaurant and demanding they fix you your favorite Italian dinner despite the fact it's not on the menu. I guess I should have included the option “I LOVE ICECREAM!”, as clearly that doesn’t belong either. lol rolleyes:

I think that was already covered.
It is amazing that (at this very second I’m posting) 29 out of 44 voters (65.91%) are voting for the “Clean up” as this is the one and only thing EVERYONE can participate in. As one of UO’s many lone players… on very rare occasions I partner up and go hunting for NPC ships. The issues the staff has been letting ride with ships being bugged has greatly hindered that. Fixing bugs should be a full time concern, but any content they add for the High Seas will most certainly be for larger groups and little interest for lone players that have no interest in fishing quests. Frankly, I wish they would keep in mind the lone players. Everything new seems to involve demands of extreme skill and big powerful groups. At least with spring cleaning, I remember well, how much everyone loved it and even new players could take part. That doesn’t take away from the fact the more you knew… the more points you could collect.
The options not presented in this particular poll are directly left out from the producers letter, so no it is not like people just decided to argue with you, they decided that you left out the most important part of the July+ update to them.
Also the poll is skewed. 1) most Stratics posters (and hence voters) don't care about PvP. 2) most people who play the game do not participate in Stratics Forums. 3) not all options are available (just from the producers letter alone). If 50% of the people on Stratics really only care about pixel crack, then no matter what the number of posters for "spring cleaning" would be highest regardless of anything else.
I know you really want a spring cleaning, cause you know just tossing out trash is blasphemes, but to say they are totally avoiding it, and that it was a tiny mention (850 items.....that's a lot of items to be considered as trash don't you think?) is just silly. I feel almost all of the other mentions in the producers letter are more important than a clean up, not because I do not care about it but because they actually drive REAL "content" and not just please hoarders who will no doubt after this event hoard every item a monster drops hoping it will be on the next "clean up" event list.
Order of importance, Bug Fixes, Client Crash fixes (although technically belongs in the first category hence it becomes number 2), Graphical Update, High Seas (more content is better than no content), PvP changes (just cause it is my preffered method of spending my time on game), Then vet/Anni rewards/Clean up Brit and Live story arc (the arc would have more emphasis but I did not have much time to play the current one, did not finish it, and of course it leads to a dead end when we are discussing "content").
