Reminds me of old days on Sonoma when people RP'd Orcs.
There really needs to be an Orc Expansion for players such as yourself.
There already freeshards where you can choose to play an Orc, Centaur, Dwarf, or Halfling.
If freeshards can have it...why can't we?

Freeshards also have neon dragons and 10000% DI why cant we have that too... oh yea because it doesnt make sense.... Not taking away from the fact that their should be playable orcs but we dont have to compare everything to freeshards.

It would be great to have Orcs as a playable race, but it isn't a problem to us, especially with the Orc Kin Masks now. Just like everything else in UO, we make do with what we have and adapt that to us.

If anything we should be comparing UO Production Shards more to Free shards because it makes transparent what were getting which to me lately isn't much.
Orcs, Halflings, Dwarves, Centaur playable races.
Boat Building, Casinos, Siege Warfare....
Right now I'm very disgruntled in what's being put forth by the Dev Team.

I don't mean to be negative and many of you may have liked the changes and that's good for you however I'm not one of them. Nothing they've done in the past 6 months have I said to myself "Alright friggin' awesome".
First and foremost I want to see the EC Graphics upgrades or they need to turn UOKR toggle and then Spring Cleaning...after that I'm open to whatever.
Enough of my personal rant.
Point being there has been a demand now for some time over the years for ORCs to be incorporated into the game as a playable race. I've seen it in the first two years on Sonoma where there was a big RP Orc PvP clan that would hang out at Orc Forts and do their thing.
If you look at free shards and then what were getting it's pretty transparent that were getting the short end of the stick and there are many many ways to make this game better.

That is so nice. My nephew would love it to have a orc template. I think he would come back to the game if we did. As for the freeshards......... they are a bed for good ideas.

But part of me remembers it being drilled into my head that "freeshards" are a big no no and to quote a GM/Dev member: Play a Free shard and losse your accounts in UO. Period. No repreve. nada It is illegal to do so in their eyes.
Volenteers who put in years helping players had their ears to the ground to root out the "bad" children who used them cause the Dev and GMs drilled it in that it was stealing from we who faithfully paid our monthy dues to the game.
While I am happy the Dev have the insight to look what is offered on them and admit some of it is darn right good... Has the Dev's opinion of players playing on these "freeshards" changed??
