(Question) Black & white plants

I was growing one of each for dyes, but when I saw what they grew into I thought I'd ask if anyone actually wanted them as is first.

A black cyprus tree - handy if you go for the dark and sinister deco style
and a white water lily. Not sure if this is the way they usually turn out, but it's got a white flower but green leaf.

If you want either or both give me a shout before I turn them into clippings.

i've done a lot of black seeds and they always turn out as the normal cacti or other plants....never seen one make a tree, was that from the naturalist quest or a mutant from cross breeding?

I suspect she got the seed from doing the naturalist quest because I've gotten the exact same thing (black cypress) from doing the quest on Lake Austin. Since the peculiar plants were introduced, you get all sorts of seeds from doing the naturalist quest--old types and the new peculiar types--in all the naturalist quest colors as well as black and white.

When you cross-pollinate and get mutant white or black seeds, I'm 99% sure the resulting plant is what you expect it to be; it's just the color (black or white) that is unexpected.

I wouldn't snip and clip that black tree !

Even I would use it around Halloween time.

But there be murdering scary peeps here that may love to have a black tree lookin like DEATH, as deco in their homes year round ! Tis a cool tree esp. in all black like that !
