Archery and bushido?

Hi Guys,

I am changing my template to Pally, bushido, archer. I just wanted to ask how other archers play with their bushido archers?

I think honor is the most common skill used but the description says that you have to be standing to use honor on your opponent. So do other archers just cast honor on your opponent and stand there?

What other skills do you guys use? Most of the treads only mention lightning strike. Is that the only skill to use?

When gaining honor, you will gain more if you don't move around as well as doing other things on the list such as letting the opponent hit you first, not using poison, not letting other people/pets/ or summons hit the opponent. You can read up on all the ways that will help you gain honor faster. Even if you do move around you will still gain honor, and once your knight of honor, you can move around all you want. People use lighting strikes for the HCI bonus as well as the critical strikes. You can still use the other bushido specials except evade and that is because you need parry which doesn't work for archers.

Thanks for your reply. Is the perfection affected when I move around? Or can I just keep increasing my perfection the same as I am not moving around?

IF you are looking to gain Honor, sure. I'd grab a Demon slayer, go to fandancer dojo and kill those succubii.

If you are just fighting, then I don't worry about it so much.

EDIT: Sorry, when gaining honor, I cast EOO, use a Demon slayer and kill succubii. I don't use LS because I am using Armor Ignore.

The only thing that affects perfection is hits and misses. If you have to move to stay alive then do what you have to do.
