Entertaining the idea of bringing a character back to Chessy

True I have my hands full running _MM_ on Atlantic atm, but I think itd be some fun playing on another shard as well when nothing is going on on Atlantic (Which truthfully isnt often).

I have already seen rundowns on the guilds in another thread, but what im interested in knowing is templates. What is active on chessy atm? Alot of myst mages? Tamers? Stealthers?

Is chessy actually active enough to warrant taking a character to? Last time I tried, Chessy bored me to death.

I think you will find a good resistance number from a number of guilds. Should definitely bring a character back and some friends.

I play a couple hours a night, 3 nights a week. Unlike you, I have real life obligations that prevent me from playing all day every day.

The last Harrower I was at... we chased every last one of you out of cove. The ones that weren't flagged recalled, the others ran until they were cornered in level 4 and destroyed.

fights have been picking up a bit, though nothing like atl i'd say

i dont come across many way out templates. mvp runs heavy on ninja's

u see a fair amount of gargoyle thowers around.

everyone plays for the dismount.

stupid blue non faction gank squad guys still hug the gate in yew.

funny i posted on the pvp thread before i saw this one.. solus gotta agree with lynk here buddy. u got ur work cut out for you on atl try winning a few fights from us there first, but then again u do enjoy zerging and dominating lesser pvp guilds so chessy may be the way to go. Of course if you do go to chessy we all may have to come there as well, cant let u get easy scrolls. U gotta work for them!

Weird, a guild full of adults who (for the most part) have full time jobs or go to college full time that only have time to play for 2 or 3 hours in any given evening. That 2 or 3 hour window happens to be shared by most of the members.

I wonder why they all play together?

Also, we play every east coast server along with a few west coast. Atl is the first one we check but if its just gate trash we move along. We don't try to 'lock any server down'. We just play to PvP and go where the fights are.

As i said in my other post we destroyed ur 15+ with 7 half choke half in the field.. And sooo sorrry that the majority of our players play mages and the majority of yours play stealthers and tamers lmao.. Yea lets get zerged and then open field that.. u r one smart cookie!

I'd gladly xfer a character or 2 back to chesapeake if a few more experienced players decided to start playing on this server again. Promo hit me up if something comes up. And by the way why do people always hate on a crew that got ran out of a spawn one time? Atleast they showed up?

I tried.

The problem is that what I loved doing SO MUCH back then, is now just a dead art. We came and it wasn't guilds fighting for their right to spawn anymore, it was 2 giant alliances controlling everything, and threatening those who would not join one alliance or another.

We LOVED spawning back in the day, because it was every guild for themselves. Occassionally, people would team up, but for the most part, each individual battle was a test of wills, skill and wit. It's not like that, anymore. Now it's just a zerg fest.

I thought that perhaps the other stuff that used to draw me to the game would be enough to hold us, but alas, my husband is not interested in most of the other PVM and collecting this and that and the other. There just wasn't enough draw.

It saddens me because this is truly the one game I've never been able to get out of my system. It's the one game that while we drink cocktails on the porch that we talk about the 'good old days'. It's the one game that no matter how much time goes by, that we continually say to ourselves, "If only they would make an up to date version of UO. Crafting, housing, open world pvp, the ability to create your character's destiny like a true sandbox MMO..."

I can't let go, but I can't seem to stay.

not sure if you're talking about my post but if you are i wasnt hating i was laughing. They say we zerg, they say we can only choke, they say we cant beat them. I can prove it only takes 7 of us to beat their 15 lmao. We took out half in a choke and then it was even numbers in the open field and they panickeeddd and most dropped and some ran out dsp proper. Solus has and always will be nothing in this game. He pays real money to put together a trash crew and then is upset when they get rolled. He did the same on Chessy. News flash bro, u can guild as many trammies as you would like. They will always lose to a well coordinated, intelligent crew

That's funny, because the last time he came to Chessy, his guys got steamrolled by a trammie guild. Failed to take a champ spawn away from a trammie guild. FoA ate the big fesces sandwhich.
