Check your display options in game and in windows somthing's amiss.

I assume you can't walk into the blackness.
Try opening your paperdoll (closing it first if it's already open).
When similar things happened in the EC for me, that would "resync" with the server, and the world would pop up. If the problem has a similar nature, then that could help for you.

i can walk anywhere, do anything just fine, just cant see anything outside of the 10x10 area i'm standing in (it moves with me). relogging fixes it, but it closes in slowly over the next 30-45 minutes until my view area is back to this.

That's really strange.
It doesn't sound like update radius, because that just greys out the map beyond it.

Has something to do with crossing a server i think when you recall.... i have poped into Mag and seen houses look like that till the fraim catches up to me moving.... really weird!

Not fixed still, I've just been relogging every 45 minutes.

Also, I play on a server without recall, and my boat hasn't been out in about 2 weeks.

I do use house tele's fairly often though, i'm fairly sure the last time this happened I hadn't used one however, I'll need to test that and see if it happens if i don't use any means of magical travel. (though, never gate, house tele, or use the crystal balls isn't REALLY an option, it would be interesting to know)
