In my other post today I have stated that I have paged for a GM before I made the post.

The page was made some 2 hours ago now and at time of initial post I was number 7 in the queue. I am now at number 6. So my friends, we are supposed to believe that a GM has taken 2 HOURS to resolve an issue and is now working on a second one which is apparently going to take a similar time.

The question is - do we believe that?. I am afraid I do not. I will in fact say I think this system is a load of crap which we allow to happen. The system seems to be one which just regularly sends the same message to give the illusion that something is happening. My problem will take about one minute to resolve, I simply need to be moved onto my boat, I will do the rest. I am darn sure that most problems are similar and very few would take any length of time.

I have to admit that I do not know how we could change anything bearing in mind the way this company treats its customers. Customer Service seem to be words in a foreign language and their meaning unknown.

I am still at number 6 now some 2 and a half hours later and for me the question is will i get an answer before I have to log off?

6 means actually that you are the first in there queue. For some odd reason their queue starts with a 6. I have never been below 6. Every time when a gm helped me i was at 6.

I think, some time ago, that they changed the page queue to be asynchronous.
I don't know if that's the right word for it, actually.
But, the GMs used to go through the queue in order of page, so the oldest in the queue would get dealt with first. This left potentially urgent pages stuck behind every other (potentially frivolous) page that came before. So, they changed the system somehow so that pages could be dealt with out of order, rendering the position in the queue broken (or at least, not representative of what it claims to be).

Actually the one before you in que probably got sick and tired of being in que and cancelled the page. I have done that a few times. I do not honestly believe there are GM's anymore just some bot that sends you to a page that has nothing to do with what you paged.

You just have to wait until the GM's get done with the raid they are busy doing in WoW before they can help you. Just give them some time, they will be there.

to be honest the que does drop to 1..... the thing is they are not just seeing to UO, they have the other games Mythic has going under their fingers too. Our que and theirs migh be on different machines so the GM might be busy cleaning up a pile of que help request on those games.... that said I know it dont help your misery. The boat you need to be taken to perhaps a friend can ferry you to it or ask on shard if some one saw your boat in passing. I have made it a habit to ether park the boat at land i can pop to or dry dock it after use. Makes for a easyer day.

Yea they cover DAoC and Warhammer as well, I expect once SWTOR launches they'll get stuck in the same boat... Which means A) That will be 4 games with absurdly long support waits, and B) Our wait times will increase on average as well.

Calm down ...Your boat ( Ship ) is not lost!
It is just where you left it.

I swear even Captain Morgan doesn't drink so much rum he forgets where he parked ( docked or anchored ) his ship.

Just use another character put in a small ship ( very cheep now ) and go out to where you left your ship and remark rune. after checking that it works. sail the small ship to the nearest land and dry dock it.

Until this bug is gone for good I would suggest that you anchor by a safe spot on shore, hop off and mark a rune on land, This is what I do.

So today when my rune to my ship didn't work ...no problem.
I did get lucky in that it only hit my fishing Ship today.
I was able to recall to my ship at the floating docks.

Also NEVER recall off your ship in mid ocean without jotting down a sextant

I do have one question...GMs... you believe in GMs?
How about The Easter Bunny or Fairy Godmother?

GMs are just joke we old timers like to tell all you young'ns.
Kind 'a like how it was skill and not items that won fights. LOL
