Hi, I would like to announce the Opening of Southside Luna Pawn Shop on Saturday, June 11th at 3pm est. We will be open 5 days a week from 3-6pm est Wed-Sun. We look forward to hopefully seeing many of your smiling faces come by from time to time. We are located outside the south Luna gate 2 houses down and 2 in to the east. There will be runes at the ACT Vendor house as well as Lord Ace's Rares, Oddities, and Vendors. We will drop runes every couple of days to make sure everyone knows how to find us.
We have a book outlining how the pawn shop will operate but I will go over a few things on here to hopefully answer a few questions you folks might have.
Q. Who is running the Pawn Shop?
A. There are only 3 people who can access anything in the pawn shop and those people are, Unity (ACT), Sir Ace of Pawns(PaWn), and my RL wife and better half, Chaos Eterna(ACT). We are the only ones who you should trust, if someone is at Luna bank and they say they can take your item for you and the names don't match they are lying.
Q. What percentage do you charge to pawn an item?
A. We charge the normal 15% just like in real life.
Q. How long do we have to get our item(s) back?
A. 30 days or you can pay 15% and get an extra 30 days
Q. How does pawning an item work?
A. Well, Let's use an example to explain this. Say Goon has a Tangle he wants to pawn, He will bring it to the pawn shop and one of our dedicated staff will explain the process of pawning it. We as a rule we only give loans for 50% of the estimated worth of the item, this is done for 2 reasons. First, if we hold onto an item for 30 days and then have to get the item ready to sell, we have to make enough profit to pay our staffs salaries. Second, we don't want to make it too hard for Goon to afford to get his item back. So my staff will take his item, write down in a book his name, date, amount borrowed, a one of a kind code, and the Staff members name. Then they will make an exact copy including the total amount needed to get his item back, and seal both with a red leaf. The item is then stored in our secure vault until Goon comes back for his Tangle. When Goon can afford to get his item back he will bring his claim ticket back with him, give us the amount borrowed plus 15% and we will give him his item back.
Q. What if I lose my claim ticket?
A. That is a tough question but as a general rule we wont return an item without the other matching ticket. Anyone can pretend to be Goon, so as you can see it might be a hard pill to swallow, but if you lose your ticket, unless you are known personally by the staff, you will lose the item. Please guard the ticket like you would your item!!!
Q. What kind of items do you give loans on?
A. We want to help as many people as we can, but we can't tie up alot of resources on items that are easy to obtain.
Q. So, if we don't have rares you cant help us?
A. We might not be able to pawn common items, but thats not to say we wouldn't buy your items if we have a need for them. We buy items straight out to resell ourselves, so bring your items in and see if we can help.

A. Well, I want everyone to know right up front that I hold my name above all else. Alot of people know me as Sir Ace and I am posting my ICQ 168363612, and I live right behind my museum. Please feel free to ask around, I have taken alot of time to build trust with the community and I wouldn't ruin that over a little gold.
