Personally, I am not going to buy it.

Without a +20% House/Bank storage increase it just does not interest me.

The tiles are merely eye candy and so far I have learned of no real advantage from the distillery stuff other than getting drunk in game which I see no point for me.
If was possible to get drunk in game even before, if one wanted, without any distillery around so I just do not see the point.....

The advanced Training Dummy ? I see no big deal as getting to 60 fighting is already easy and fast enough for me.

The Raised Garden Bed ? It really does nothing more than what regular gardening can so I see no point here either.

The Commodity and Pet Broker Encampments ?

These "could be" of some value but the fact that their hiring is limited to a week only and through a bidding system makes it of no interest to me either. It simply bugs me the annoying thought to have to set up a vendor and then take off all the inventory on a weekly basis. No thanks.

I would have spent 15 bucks though, if the package contained also a +20% House/Bank Storage increase but since it doesn't, I will not spend my money on it.

I was being sarcastic.

They are way off-point on the value of this.

"Rustic Bench is a craftable unique bench"

So its a one of a kind bench each player gets? :)

This package is as fail as their 5$ for a 1-tile small rug

But some people might pay it, but if they lowered it im sure more people would

Rustic walls look like soggy cardboard. Gothic walls have those annoying thick lines between each section. Bits of junk like the gardening bed and distillery mean nothing to me. Vendor encampments are something for super rich ***holes to bid millions on.

Pass.

I think you can apply it now, but you'll only be able to access the stuff on shards where it's "out" (Origin now, Production as of 7th June).

They cut short the testing on TC1 before I had a chance to confirm this, Lucitus. However, two other people that did some testing made posts that indicated they were able to cross-pollinate plants in the beds and gather seeds or resources from them.

One thing I am waiting to hear about is how many raised gardening bed tokens or deeds you get for each upgrade. I assume it's only one. There were three possible sizes for the bed: 2x2 (4 plants), 2x3 (6 plants) east-facing or south-facing, or 3x3 (9 plants). The beds are not "containers." To plant something in them, you click on a seed and then click on the tile in the bed where you want to plant the seed. So if you thought you could get around the size limit by doing something creative like filling a crate full of potted seeds and putting it in the bed and axing it, it's not going to work! (Yes, someone asked me that.)

Are beds that will only grow, at most, 9 plants without water and chemicals worth the cost? I don't think so.

I've got some concerns about the encampment system too. It's something I might take advantage of on Siege but didn't think to test this one important thing while there was still a chance: If a potential customer decides to view the pet you're selling on a Felucca New Magincia vendor, can said potential customer damage, kill, or get your pet guard-whacked while it is on view (especially if owner is in factions)? And if the bazaar owner is red or turns red after setting up the vendor, will the pets for sale turn red? Will they have a faction tag on them if the owner is in factions?

I was so unimpressed by the encampment system, I just didn't get involved with testing it other than to go look at what someone else set up on TC1, obviously in Trammel. But did anyone look at these for the Siege ruleset or for use in Felucca? (Hoping maybe Petra did, she's always so thorough....)

Sadly, Tina, I didn't. I did check that the pets could be sold to reds, but I didn't think about anyone attacking the pet on show. :(

Pets are yellow (invulnerable) while you're viewing them from the animal broker inventory.

I also have this vision in my mind of some new player buying a blue beetle or fire beetle on Siege and brand new unbonded pet being attacked and lost for good before they can run their way to a stable in another city, since New Magincia still has no stable. (I don't think it had one before it was razed, either, did it?) Or someone not so new buying a pet there in Siege and also seeing it clobbered and lost before they can get it to a stable.

Oh well. I just can't seem to muster much enthusiasm for either pack. Kind of interested in being able to make the craftables but the price on both packs is just too steep at this point to justify it. If distilling takes off and you need a constant supply of the metal kegs, maybe. Or the statues are kinda neat but how different are they from the stealable variety? The topiaries are, in my opinion, just dumb looking and something I'd maybe in a million years put up as a novelty item for a few minutes. Llamas and goblins. Couldn't they think of something else to do?

Sorry....will stop the ranting. I'm just so underwhelmed by these and very irritated at the price and actually the whole concept of having to pay for something like the encampment system. That should have been just a standard addition to the game so everyone would have the ability to use it.

Thanks, Nimuaq. Probably would have figured that out if I'd gone back and looked at a screen shot I took. Got lazy and decided to take the lazy way out to get the answer.

Still not convinced the pet vendors will be very useful on Siege with no stable in New Magincia.

all those items must have taken the devs a good 10-30 minutes to code, i love how they charge so much for such little effort, i dont pay cash for uo items anyway
