As memory servers me this is in fact the first house that was placed. It used to be the hot spot vendor shop for all the pvp that took place there. at that time i believer everyone was busy either pvpn or farming for gold to place huge houses and start claiming areas as towns. there were a few more smalls that popped up then people started placing town areas such as safe haven and coventry

I can't see the pic, but if it's the small outside of Moonglow, yes, it's the 1st house placed on Siege by Thunderlips and Zodiac (not sure on Zodiac, but I think that was the other name) - after the wipe, that is. *grins*
I have checked the other 3 houses on the shard that have been standing longer than I have been playing. 2 have fallen and one still stands (One was Balgnons house next to Ocllo bank (gone) and one heading outside the north oceanside of brit (gone as well). Leaving only one house and its on the northside of the brit GY, and has always had wierd happenings to it. Its owner is named Generic OSI Rep. It used to be a normal small house but at some point in the last year or so the person upgraded it to custom. While I cannot say its a "customer" owned house, I can say I believe it and that moonglow one are the longest currently standing 2 houses on the shard. The brit GY house even now is public but you cannot even get on the front steps (wierd happenings again). There was one also that stood out in my mind that I believe was located in Safe Haven. It was a large tower, and it had a small house placed on its roof, again GM or something owned but I cannot find it anywhere where I thought it once stood.
I cannot think of any other houses anywhere that have stood longer.
If you could in someway get someone to confirm who the Brit GY owner is and simply ask (EA?) them what the date on the sign is, you'll have your answer.

Yes, I seem to remember the first house was placed near the Moonglow gate- Thunderlips sounds right.
The first DTA house that was placed is still there- the small shop now called The Red Skeleton, owned by Quira- south of the Trinsic gate. That house was placed (improperly) by Bruenor, the original GM of DTA, and owned first by True Grit. I have owned it a few times. It has always belonged to a DTA member.
It was set up as our first vendor house- but was a magnet for pvp. There was another guild that lived near there that used to attack anyone who wore platemail - but I can't remember the name of that guild- anyone remember them?
When I placed my vendor house near the Yew gate, there were only 3 others houses there.
We stood around wondering if anyone would ever come there to shop. Later, Yew gate became the best shopping area on the shard. That original location has shifted many times and is no longer in the original place.

T'was. It's the first one on the road out of glow toward the gate.
Sign says Thunderlips and Zodiac.
Yes it is the first house located south of moonglow mint when running to the moongate.
