Just recently the font got smaller on all my stratics pages. I can hardly read it anymore. Is there a place in stratics where I can set the default font size? I have searched and searched for a preferences menu, but have failed so far.

I used to do this regularly by accident when I used IE. I can't remember what it was, but there was a keyboard shortcut to reduce the font size that corresponded to one of my UO hotkeys.
If you have a scroll mouse, and you hold the CTRL button while scrolling, you can (and may already have, accidentally) adjusted your default font size.
the pop-up ad's at the bottom of the page are just dawesome, dotally dawesome. 
CTRL+ +/- or mouse wheel resizes your default font in your browser (Firefox, at least, but I think it's a standard).
Ctrl+0 (zero) should reset it to default

comon petra - it comes back every page refresh or link clicked
The font is located in the toolbar > view > text size
if you dont see the toolbar you can hit ALT to show it.

yeah, I HAVE to do that to post/preview because the ad invisibly covers over those buttons - it's also wider than you'd think as well. Ads normally don't really bother me, but that seems kinda intrusive to me.
example, the lower left post about blackrock stew, their ad covers it - "can't get there from here"

I didn't ask HOW to get rid of them.
Obvious to you, but some people hadn't seen there was a 'close' button, it's small and not particularly noticeable.

No need to attack Petra for trying to help you mitigate the annoyance of the ads. Don't like the ads then go after the people in charge of them, not those who are not responsible for it. Or to save yourself time wasted, listen to the help offered and/or get something like adblock.

I like most of the ads, is how I found LOTRO which I'll actually try out. A transparent image placed over a forum page button is not an ad, sorry, that's spam. I'm thinking they get pay per click, even if it's just to click close the ad, if he needs money that bad, nm.
And I know Petra has nothing to do w/ those, just content for this section of the board, but since she's kinda in charge here, that's why she gets the unfavorable comments about the ads here, too. nothing personal from my side for sure - she does an incredible job and gets an incredible lack of thanks for it.
