The Enhanced client is the Advanced client though so it's a true statementAdvanced client though? I thought it was the Enhanced client. Clearly its not played much in the office either
Just take a peak at the last few weeks of Pinco's work to see how far it has advanced recently.
Probably a game breaking reason. If it was easy to put it on the boat and in a house, they'd probably do so and sell a bunch of them on the game codes store for people who want them on their ships and in their homes.

I want to put a few lanterns on my ship personally. I've gotten where unless I'm dungeon romping where you absolutely need Nightsight, I tend to not have it equipped as a mod because I enjoy the concept of lighting at nighttime. I'd like to see it on the boat as well without having to constantly restock and replace the light sources.

Very well done. I personally did not like the music, but I quickly got used to it. Additionally, it was very good form releasing the video right after announcing that one was being made. I'm glad they said nothing of it sooner.

Yes indeed. There is a boatload(!) of decor ideas they could add to ships to enhance the ambiance of the fine evening at sail under the open skies, the twinkling starlight, the moons a'glow.
And sound, the tinks and tonks of rigging and gear against the wooden sides and masts and crossbeams in a gentle breeze, winds as they blow by from time to time, the slap of waves against the hull.
Come on Devs, make us feel it.
The most recent EM loaned out to Siege did the closing event with the bane in Magincia; held a meet-and-greet a few weeks later and pumped every body up on how he was going to run events to take advantage of Siege's unique rules; came back a few days later and handed out more half aprons to people that missed the meet-and-greet; held an event that seemed to be a success by all accounts; showed up a few times afterwards in chat; put up a house; asked for donations of furnishings . . . .
and then disappeared.
He's posted since then on the forum for his "home" shard. But not a word has been heard from him on Siege in over a week, if not longer.
He seemed very involved and also excited to be doing stuff on Siege. I don't recall hearing any negative feedback either. So at this point I have to wonder if it's actually Mesanna that's pulling the plug on the Siege EMs for some reason and not the EM's themselves just giving up. I know when she showed up at the meet-and-greet, only two or three people (if that) went over to chat with her. Everyone else was busy doing the timed scavenger hunt. Perhaps she's punishing Siege for not being welcoming enough.
Dunno.
Totally 100% would LOVE to put lanterns on my ships! Especially the Tokuno one and have some of the more Tokuno style Lanterns or something hanging from them would be super sweet... But that ship just screams "lanterns"...
Maybe we are not alone.
But I think night fishing with lanterns would be very cool.

yea i take touches to dungeons with me to fish instead of using in lor or a pot makes it feel wrmer in a cold wet place

Almost every shard but for Atlantic,Yamato,and Hokuto have huge tracks of land in Malas.
Once a long time ago the old Dev team had a contest that people got gifts of castles....
My idea is to Have you sell preset keeps and castles the same as you did the house plots on the island. Players can then search out the areas for the house stone to place bids... I bet your bippy that players would out bid the plots in magincia by wide margins! You might have wiped out billions per shard but you just hit the tip of the ice berg in the gold piles I know are still out there.
Or Take bids on deeds to place castles and keeps on the shards in those areas! ... Special deeds that could be sold on vendors.... I know I'd bid on a keep/castle deed or two myself! I have a few places a keep in malas would sooo go in! Would even upp morale in some slumping shards.

I wentt o test center and saw the bazaar slots in New Magincia, I am dissapointed that all those fenced in areas that looked liek soemthing was being built in are just turned into ugly little boxes. No new buildings?
I thought they said Magincia wasn't going to be like Luna but it sems like .. yes it is.. it's being made up to be only a shopping town.

I seriously doubt seeing empty Malas spaces on shards with low population suddenly filled with a handful of castles and keeps bid upon and won by the shard's billionaires would help the morale of the game. It's already depressing enough to run through certain areas of Felucca and Trammel and see nothing but castles and keeps. If you're a new or returning player, all that tells you is that you're at the bottom of the heap and bound to stay there for a very, very long time. It isn't new player friendly at all to see such extravagant displays of wealth. In addition, there's nothing "new" or "creative" looking about castles and keeps. Just the same old boring miles and miles of stone walls to get lost in. Yuck.
I would much rather see in-game gold sinks to allow you to purchase decorative items for any house to use. Not just more stuff that caters to the few individuals who have the in-game gold to buy keeps and castles. We're not all gamblers and willing to throw away what gold we have on a minute chance to win a castle or keep. There need to be gold sinks in the game for the non-gamblers and for the people who don't have endless amounts of gold.
