i thought legends was the only one, and perhaps you are on legends, but either way... why is the/our top left corner missing?!?!
I am with Malagaste..they are ugly now. They had some depth before now they seem flat. *frowns*
I dunno what they look like in the EC, but in 2D, they have a pretty decent amount of character, save that they're missing the upper left corner.
The lack of perspective makes them look aweful now; not to mention that if sitting near a wall they ride up it about half way. This is not a fix...

In the EC, they look pretty good. Actual circle that follows the ground. Top left is missing though. LOOKS like they've even made it scale well to the zoom feature, but can't really test it at the moment since someone is standing on top of the one I'm trying to look at.

Ok, was able to get a couple of shots... Left side is zoomed in completely in EC, right side is zoom set to "2d Native".
Looks like the resolution of the new circle is MUCH higher, especially when compared to the bank sign to the right. While there is some pixelation in the circle, it's NOWEHERE near that of the sign.

Yeah... no.
That circle's resolution is no higher than any other graphic in game. Look again at the edges of it. It's as jagged as any other graphic, and frankly, doesn't even hold its detail as well as it does in the 2D client.
And I say this having compared the two client side by side...
Yeah... Um... I hope that the actual "hi-res" update is much better than this.

First of all, I like the new arcane circle.
The placement and the artwork match on both clients now.

On the enhanced client, you used to have to cast arcane circle by standing below the center of the circle.
After casting, the artwork would pop over the character.
Its nice to see the floor behind the circle artwork.

I don't think the edges are ment to be hard. The way it is now reminds me of a sand drawing.
