DREAD HORN KEY NOT SHOWING UP IN EC

Found something VERY VERY annoying with the Dread Horn key today:

If you drop your keys, which takes a friggin time to collect, because not every of the keyholders carries it's key all the time (had to kill 16 IRKS!!!!!!, till one fortunately DIDN't forget its brain at home.....RNG my a..), the little white thinggy DOESN't show up in your backpack......!!!!!! Recollecting the keys and switching the client was the only option.

Tried everything even relogging switching clients etc....no friggin Dread Horn key!!!!

PLEASE FIX THIS!!!

even switched to list form but no key.....

if the icon is not visible, you should be able to get a tooltip on the square where are supposed to be... and double click the square will allow you to use the keys...

should but didn't work.....usually when this happens (what you describe) switching to list view shows you the item.....except in this case it doesn't....tried it again and could reproduce it....

strange is that even switching to 2d client wont show you any keys....i.e. they DO NOT SPAWN....

Dropping the keys on the statue in 2d spawns the keys just fine and they even show up in EC.....

just tried, I had no problem...
be sure to drop the keys inside the statue and not on the ground... the better way is to make an organizer or just drop them into the current target

Perhaps typing the entire body of the post in capital letters in the same fashion as the subject would provide you with better results on keying dreadhorn.

Very funny Lynk....but not so helpful.....and I am sure you encountered some odd situations in UO as well which wanted to make you eat your keyboard...

I am relly clueless what the problem is....agreed I was miffed that I had to kill the bloody Irk 16 times before I got the key to it.... suck it up and blame it on the RNG...bad streak happens....

Was just very frutstrated that when I finally got them, the Dread Horn key didn't show up for whatever reason....Could be that i do something wrong....but what the hell is it?!

Let me explain again:

I play in EC to get all the keys, relog to 2d client to drop them on the statue and I get the white key, relog to EC white key is in backpack double click poof I am with dread horn.....thats my workaround to get to the island....

If I drop the keys in EC on the statue I simply do not get a key.....nothing falls to the floor no key forgotten......I know most of all the strange "no show in backpack" features EC sometimes throws at you and switching to list view allways made them appear again but not so with this key?! So I relogged with the 2d client to check if they show up there...but nothing....

I really would like to understand what the heck I do wrong....is there more to it than grabbing the freaking key and let it drop over the statue?

I use an organizer for it so I'm 100% sure to get the keys

Dreadhorn keys are visible and working in the EC, done it many times.

no more switching clients tx again....

I get his every now and then in EC when dragging items. Sometimes they just disappear. Normally logging out and back into that character has the item show back up again.
