The problem wasnt the spellbook not showing up on test. It was making spellbooks disappear from the normal char on the regular servers.

I transfered 4 spell casters and never lost anything including spell books!

As far as i know the bug only happened if u were wearing the spellbook when u started the copy.

Guess u had good luck then. When i copied my spellbook disappeared had to re-start copy and then close it out to get it back.

Anyone coppied a char with something other than a spell book in hand and had problems?

As it sounds like its an issue with items equiped in the main hand slot unless someone has had it happen with a wepon in the main hand slot.

I copied with a weapon in my hand on 2 chars and both of the were fine. Seems to just be spellbooks.

I know when i checked the copy crate I had to scroll clear to the bottom to find my book

Didn't someone say opening the Character Copy menu would return lost items? I guess it really needed to be fixed properly though..

After I did the copy, I logged on to the non copy to transfer the char from Origin to another shard, but could not because it said I had inventory still attached to the non copy of the char that I had to claim yet.
I opened the Help menu and under char copy, it said it was still pending.. I had no way to even open the Copy menu.
I had to page a GM to fix the issue.
So the best thing I think for them to do is just fix the problem, whatever it may be.
