Petition for the repair and enhancement of UO.

(This makes more sense than the boycott trial)

We, the players of Ultima Online, request that, some time in the very near future, a large step is taken in the direction of repairing known bugs/issues that are currently affecting the UO community (lack of saltpeter, character statues, house lockdown issues, recent inability to dye hair when disguised, etc.).

If there is some reason as to why these issues cannot be repaired, your paying customers would highly appreciate any enlightenment on the situation via a UO Herald news thread in UHall.

If no action is taken, and this petition is ignored, then the players who have signed this petition shall, at an agreed date, make trial accounts then, after 15 days of creating these accounts (in order to be allowed house ownership), will transfer their houses to trials and cancel their paying accounts until further notice.

All that we ask is that you hear your customers, and repair the content currently in need of attention before continuing further projects.

EDIT: If I am incorrect about trials being able to hold houses, then we can contact a friend or someone trustworthy that can temporarily hold our houses for us. We will find a way to make this happen.

30 days, on the day of transfer you make another trial, then transfer house again in 15 days if necessary.

The client crash issue for me is over 2 months now, i will not give afew more weeks.

Now i cannot use spell trigger bombard on either client without it hitting me.

your joking right? A few weeks, by then more people will or can lose stuff from the "House Bug" and in a few weeks those players that could not find thier boats will have lost them. But hey good work on coming out with a patch in less than one day to fic a coloring problem.

You know a simple word from the Devs of oh I don't know "We know you are all concerned about the housing problem and we are working on it as fast as we can. And we also know about the problem of players finding thier boats, so until we correct this we have turned off boat decay."

Is that asking to much?

You can pay 3 times a year and keep your house. It is safer to pay 4 times. I will pay for this next upcoming sub, once that has expired if my problems are not resolved by then i will be doing just that.

Yeah, tired of the OP posts too. He's made them in the past. They're all the same. Just a different version of his "let's riot!" post. And no, trial accounts cannot own houses.

Uhh, anything makes more sense then that juvenile boycott trial post.

There is still a lot of stuff they have stated are objectives for the rest of the year I am highly interested in. If management up top says booster packs must roll out, then I'd say what we have in this one is not bad, not great but not bad.

If you want to do something such as a Petition here is my suggestion...

Go around your shard and hand out books with Mesanna and Cal's Emails in them... Ask everyone you hand the book to to please write to both Cal and Mesanna saying you want to see the repair and Enhancement of UO and you want bugs fixed... and current issues resolved BEFORE any new content is added.... Have everyone send that to the two of them. Host a "Sample" letter somewhere on an forum or website that you could give them to use... to make it even easier ...... because most folk are lazy but if you make it extremely easy for them they might do it.

You may get more of a response.

A Petition is only a petition if it carries a large voice. Also..... You could hold a sit in on your shard. Invite all parties who wish to see such changes made to come to say your EM hall... and hold a Sit in... Write to Mesanna and Cal and tell them you are doing this... invite them to come to your shard and SEE just how many on your shard are there and want to see these changes. Take screenshots in case they don't show and email those to Cal and Mesanna.

Such a thing could be proposed to be set up and we could crash test or some other shard by holding a sit in.... that is MULTIPLE shards of folk... the only trouble is 90% of the player base does NOT read stratics.

So you need to go word of mouth and work VERY hard to get to and reach all those who might be interested in such a endeavor to know about it and participate.

to original poster shinobi: I saw no reference to how you have sent multiple bug reports on any issues? would that not be your first course of address to a situation of this type? I mean if you got issuses that need fixing and that are broke would you not do this first? and then would you not send multiple e mails directly to them saying once again why have you not fixed this? thats what I would have done and have more than once on a in game issue in need of repair. now of course after doing this why not come on startics and bring up only one issue and work it from there? explaining how you have tryed to let them know? as far as I can tell this may be the first time anyone is hearing of some of these issues. with that being said calling for a in game ban on uo is a bit of a extreme for a unknown issue don't you think? in future please make your future threads about 1 subject or thing, do not gang everything you can think of into a big complaint that just spirals into oblivion, as this thread soon will.If ya want to get things fixed this is not the place to try and get it done, send bug reports then tell us about there mishandling of that. you will get more sympathy towards your matter/problem. Try again not buying this thread.

If it's happening in both clients my better guess would be your hardware as opposed to their software that is the root of the problem
