Bokuto Tamer

I was pondering creating a Bokuto Tamer as I have another tamer worked up on a spare account and nothing to do with it and I have a pre-patch Cu.

Here is my thinking, 4/6 casting and all the standard equipment:

110 Taming
110 Lore
120 Swords
110 Bushido
90 Tactics
60 Chiv
120 Resist

I have also considered dropping resist and adding parry so I can get to the next tier for special moves mana reduction but there are quite a few mages on my shard and I'll probably be vamped/drained incessantly.

Am I on par with these ideas or completely off my rocker.

I have a similar char.. but instead of resist/chiv I have a fair amount of skill increase and squeezed in heal/anat and like 80 parry. It is really solid defensively.. I just don't have a lot of fun playing it. So many people script their boxes that the template isn't as effective as it once was with riding swipe.

Relying on chiv for healing without resist would not be good.

Good point. I was thinking no resist would suck for not having mana to do specials but now that you point it out not having mana for chiv heals is a far worse consequence. You've swayed me Lynk, thank you.
