Gargoyle necklace and ear rings (dev question)

Why can they be made out of diffident colored metal yet don't get the material bonuses from then? They are armor and really have no purpose outside of art if you can't you can add those properties to them, any necklace or ear rings can have resist added to them. They are part of a gargys armor so should be treated the same way as other armor pieces.It's bad enough we don't have runic tinker kits to make them with if we do have them they are so rare few know of there existence.

Even without the benefit of the material bonus, the resists on the other pieces of armor compensate for the lack on the necklace and earrings. Plus if you craft them right you can imbue +15 to at least 1 resist on the earrings and necklace.

yes but 44 for physical in two items goes a long way

Why craft earrings? just alter mace and shield or folded steel glasses since you're lacking on dci in a gargoyle suit anyways.

44 physical from 4 pieces? Are you crafting GM armor? you could get all 15 physical resist on every base piece if you craft a few. That would put you at 60 alone w/o imbuing. Then add in either pair of glasses and you're golden. In all honesty for a well built PVP gargoyle suit you might need to imbue 2 high intensity resists TOTAL through out the suit.

Actually puni, if you use folded steel glasses + orny, you don't even have to imbue any resists to hit all 70's.

You have to alter them. I think they look good altered on my 2D gargs.

True depending on the type of mage you're making. But if you're making a dexer you might have to do 1 or 2 resists .
