Edward, talk to Shalimar about putting a book about your guild on the rooftop of the NEW guildhouse. There's a small collection of books there with information about other guilds on Siege that can be accessed by new Siege players while they're still making up their mind about which guild to join after they graduate from NEW. The book's writing should be sealed with a red leaf to prevent changes to it and erasures. If you don't have a red leaf, Shalimar can probably give you one.

Hiya, Edward. Just curious about something. How do you determine which characters in your stories are going to be called "a poor sap," "a lout," "a poor guy," "a lonesome fool," or some other demeaning term?

If one of your marks was actually engaged in some productive activity that potentially benefits the community when you decide to rob them, are your stories still going to tag them as someone idiotic or foolish just because you happen to come upon them right as they might be lumberjacking some rare wood, or mining up some rare ore, or turning in a BoD for a rare item? If so, I know I will take offense to the stories, because without those productive citizens trying to put in an honest day's work, where will you and your ilk find yourselves?

And no, I don't have a problem with you or with the thieving. What I wrote was just meant as somewhat gentle criticism or something to consider when you write up future stories. I got the impression someone who was the mark in one of Evil Lord Smurfy's stories was pretty upset by it, possibly because it made her look foolish in front of a wide audience. When I read your first two stories, I wondered if people might be more receptive to them if they know they won't always be portrayed as someone with little to no brains. "Unlucky," "doomed," or "jinxed" perhaps, but not necessarily stupid because they happen to become one of your victims.

That's all. Just a wee bit of food for thought. Take it or leave it, as you will.
