With the arrival of New Magincia there is a new group of thieves amongst us posing as rares traders. I advise people to be very careful when working to beautify new homes as these unscrupulous individuals are doing all they can to *get the good stuff*. Two of the items recently for sale here include these ill gotten goods, and I am sure more will be seen if more people continue to let their guard down.

When placing rares or anything of personal value, be sure to make your homes private.

Also, remember that you can always use detect hidden skill on the floor of the house (not on a goza mat) to reveal any hiders or stealthers. As long as you are in your house, this is a guaranteed detect regardless of your skill level.

I must say, as a character that started that first year of UO as a thief ... it is nice to see the profession making a comeback.
