[EM Event] First Grand Palio to be Held in Nujelm! (Sunday 10th)

First Palio is to be held in Nujelm.

Depending upon the number of entrants there will be at least two qualifiers and a final. Points will count towards the final Grand Prix prize of a banner in the Reward Hall.

Points will be awarded as follows:
10 for a win
7 for second place
5 for third
3 for fourth
2 for fifth
1 for sixth

Proposed race track for the Nujelm Palio is below:

Please feel free to set up stalls for selling items and betting. Anything to add to the atmosphere of a Grand Palio.

It's a horse race, There were a few practice laps a couple weeks ago and it seemed to go very well.

Im posting my screenshots of the races that have just finished; Apologies for the bags in shot, but I was using them to judge the time taken to cover distance to the line so I could take the finishing shot at the right point. It seems to have worked out well!

Race 1: Winner... Vedaewen

Race 2: Winner... Amplisa

Race 3: Winner... Moira. Honorable Mention: Kros Vandor

Race 4: Winner ... Apparently it was Europa Trader.

I was in this race so I didn't get any screen shots, I was too busy running. But later on I queried this with Nathan and I was told I came third, behind Trader and Stone Cold? But I don't remember seeing anyone ahead of me during the race, nor overtaking me, and I'm pretty sure I was beating Trade into the the first two corners. Memory is a fickle thing though, especially perhaps because I was focused on those around me, who I edged away from until the second lap, then I clipped the South West corner on the inside, and the third lap where I accidentally mouse moved onto a bandage and then clipped the North West corner. I pulled it back from the remainder on the final straight by running down the line of bandages... but it was a close run thing, I seem to recall we were all bunched up for that final run. Does anyone have any screenshots from my race?

I cannot believe my dapper little outfit looks bright orange in the dreadful 3D client though, s'just adding insult to injury that is.
