glass need to be removed from game completely.. I find it really lame a medieval game having glasses and pink, baby blue, red and blaze colored dogs we can ride. I hope who ever thought this was a good idea to put in the game is no longer with the uo team.

like all people that quite and new people that try this game they all laugh at use and ask whats next space ships. We have starred what to far of the path of what this version of uo is about.

and please dont try to tell me how the single player versions of uo has a space/alien part to some of them.

Whether you choose to listen or not, it is indeed true that the original Ultima games had science fiction elements. Sorry.

Oh, and the real Middle Ages did have glasses; I have read in two separate books that both European and Mongolian civilizations had eyeglasses as far back as the 1200s to 1300s. I have no idea on the details. But sorry on that one too.

So far as I know you're the only one arguing the glasses shouldn't be there at all. There could easily be others I have missed, but you're the only one I've noticed/can recall.

Most of us aren't asking for such things not to exist, just objecting to in essence having to wear them for maximum effectiveness. Having many options has always been one of UO's strong point; what we seek is to add to those options.

Perhaps a deed for each slot. You could buy the appropriate deed. Then transfer properties to it from your existing item. These deeds with properties could be sold, stored or used. To use a deed, click on it, then on the appropriate slot related item. The deed transfers the properties to the item and goes poof. The item from which properties were transferred would become useless, decorative, or go poof too.

So you hate the glasses look and the whole ideal of the thread is to convert them to like a plate helm for human elf. And garg only glasses could convert to earrings. Or convert the selective viewing blinders to glasses of enlightment.

Weapons should not be considered.

Shields conversion of art remains in class of wood to wood, metal to metal and stone to stone.

This tool is a must for a large game like this

if is too much time consuming for devs, maybe they should make an "item morphing tool" with 10 charges on uogamecodes for a fair price... so they can have the time spent paid back faster, and we can fix our character

Exellent ideas! My vote goes to BOD reward as a deed, but I would use it in whatever form It would be made. I hate to see my pretty girls in mempo. Luckily luck isnt working so good that they have to

The problem as I see it is artifacts, if this were a real world, wouldn't just change because you didn't like how they looked. An item is an item.
