Ever try to explain UO to someone, show them the antiquated graphics, the bugs emptiness and everything else? I Just feel like Im devoted to something that is dead or nearly so.
Actually I do kinda feel this way. I am in a small PvP guild and it seems this way even when theres the max ppl in TS (about 8-10). Three of our group play WoW, and a almost different three play SC2. They don't want to play UO unless theres some huge fight going on. Which on my shard, is rare.
Hell I love PK'ing but theres other things I like doing in the game too. Thats what makes UO stand apart from other games... the sheer amount of things to do. And despite what people may say about PvP in UO.... its still one of the best engines for it out there. Of course you're right about the outdated graphics (though they have a nice uniqueness to them). Not to mention I am fairly sure less then 10 people actually run EA UO anymore, and the GM program is outsourced to call centers in india or china/japan.

Yea but you gotta give UO some credit, it's like the only decent MMO you put on your flash drive and carry around with you...
But seriously if you're really serious about wanting to PvP, and you are on a Low PvP shard think about moving servers...or better yet make a toon on a different shard to PvP on when things are slow on the one you normally play on. I know quite a few of the PvPers and a few of the guilds on Chessy bounce from shard to shard, there's nothing wrong with it, it's also possible you might be able to ship some gold and gear over if you can find someone X-fering to where ever.
It's really a choice of do you want to be bored with your friends, or cut some time away from them and enjoy the game more...

I dont know about anyone else but when I log in I simply feel like playing Uo.
I am most certainly not searching for the holy grail of gaming or wishing Uo was anything other then what it is.
If you are bored with Uo or dont feel it is living up to your personal expectations maybe you should just take a break.
You could try another game but as anyone that has ever played multiple games knows, Uo is still the best. Always has been, always will be.
If your ADD doesnt allow you to simply keep playing the best game around that is a problem.
But I doubt that problem will be solved by going public with your personal gaming issues.
If a part of you (obviously) wishes to hurt the game then by all means keep going public with your issues.
And if you get flamed for whining & trying to hurt the game simply say things such as; "I am a longtime, paying customer & can say what I want" or "I just thnk that all the Dev's are useless & the game sux ever since I got bored" or "Who are you to judge me, I am not trying to hurt the game I am just continually expressing my negative opinions for unknown reasons", etc..

Though while on the subject of Star Wars... every time I hear stuff from the DEV's I feel somewhat like Watto with Qui Gon Jinn... "Who do you think you are a Jedi or something waving your hand around like that. Fool I am a Toydarian... Mind tricks do not work on me."

I never said UO was not the best game out there. I have never played another so I can't relate. My point was so many will not give it a chance because of what it is. I don't want to move on I just feel like no one else understand the power of the force
I love that commercial. When I see it while fast forwarding through commercials on my DVR I actually stop to watch it.
LOL. It's my favorite one. They actually have another one on youtube called "the making of" . Has alot more shots that they had not used.....
