Griffins or some kind of horse that is the rough equivalent of a lesser hiryu, or at the very least a faction warhorse, would be an excellent special mount for Paladins. As it currently stands, Samurai have a special mount (lesser hiryu), Necromaners have a special mount (that undead horse thing they can get from a nightmare corpse, and/or the grizzled mare).
A special Paladin mount has been long-asked for.
Could be as simple as spawning white-hued horses, and/or black-hued horses, with extra HP, in the wild, having them tame-able by tamers, but command-able and ride-able only by Tamers or Paladins, a la the lesser hiryus and Samurai.
A white wyrm is an excellent example of a creature that could, and probably should, be altered both for the sake of tamers and for the sake of new PvM-oriented content in the older dungeons. Honestly unless it fills some gap as is that I am not aware of (in which case feel free to inform me), then I don't see why they wouldn't just beef it up as is.
Give it good loot (relic fragment worthy loot), good fame, good gold spawn, give it an extra control slot or two, beef up its taming requirements, etc.
Again unless the critter as is fills some gap I am not aware of.
They have been meaning, they say, to improve existing dungeons for some time now. Beefing up the white wyrm and a few other tameables are a good way to start.
And, getting away from the point of the thread (sorry!) since we're starting in Ice Dungeon, I've always thought Ice Fiends should be harder, like balron level at the least. And that there should be a rat champ of some kind in that rat fort on level 2.....
