Luck and your Sampire

Does anyone use the Luck mod on their sampire?

I have a Conjurer's Garb w/140 Luck, The 10th anniversary statue for another 100, and Perfection grants up to 1000 luck. That's 1240 luck. But my Sampire doesn't seem to get very lucky.

Just wondering if any of you run it, and where you even have mods for the piece. Or do you just swap to a luck suit right before the monster dies... lol

I'm on my Blackberry so I can't easily check, but I thought the 1000 luck from perfection did not stack with other luck items. So if you had 240 luck on suit with perfection you would still have 1000. If you had 1240 luck on your suit with perfection you still had 1240. Correct me if I am wrong, but thay was my understanding. Based on this, I never put luck on my suit and just let perfection get me to 1000.

note: as far as I know the perfection luck stacks, the real question is if it works.

I've never used a luck suit in the 10 years of playing, BUT

kill a swoop or two without honoring it.

then kill a few more honored

the honored swoops drop more gold from perfection

Tell me where it states that.

Everything I remember reading stated that it did stack. At this time I can only quote UOguide. I remember seeing it before on EA's page on luck. However, I can't find that link.

I've done thousands of Mels and can say from my point of view that it does in fact stack. Big difference in loot intensity from 2500ish to 3500 ish.

Perfection and luck, redux:
So, back in February we said that the code for Perfection affecting your luck stat wasn't actually working. Turns out we were wrong - we missed the relevant bit that actually used that code. Sorry for the confusion! Here's the real scoop:

Perfection is added to your luck stat for the purposes of determining the loot of the monster that you achieved perfection on. (It's not a time-based buff or anything, it's just a one-shot.) The actual amount of luck is the perfection bonus sqared, divided by ten - so, if you have achieved max perfection, you'll get a bonus of 1000 luck added to your base luck for the loot rolls on that critter.
