i plan on converting one of my chars a gargoyle..
he needs.
70 lrc, 40lmc, mr 15+
all 70s or even higher
40 dci
10+ int or mana
and 1/2 or more on a shield?

my jewelry is used up.
its +skill and the extra 30 lrc..

if for whatever reason i can get all 100% lrc on my armor and do away with it on my jewelry i would love that..


is this possible?

you didn't say what jewels/other artifacts you have already chosen but a decent garg mage suit can be made rather easily/on the cheap

go with the pendant of the magi, faction orny+crystalline ring (no need to alter), faction folded steel glasses altered to earrings, 25 DCI -20 mage weap no penalty sc boomerang, your choice of tangle/crimmy altered to gargoyle, and i like the mana phase orb with 10 LRC, 5 DCI, and 6 LMC. though there are other varieties with SDI etc. or if you want ep for pvp, dump the crystalline ring and go with imbued FCR3+ep+15 magery, +5 magery/7 anat/ep talisman.

i would not go with a shield unless you have wrestle/defensive wrestle. if you do have wrestle there is a nice garg shield with DCI and soul charge plus some fcr. forget its name. every time you get hit you can get mana back.

you can do this without the faction stuff, it just costs less to do w/faction. again you didn't give much info so i'm operating totally blind here.

the char is a stealth necro mage tamer.
his temp is cramped so most of the jewelery is used up with +skill

right now i am human with a normally decent suit..
he has.
all 70s.
100 lrc
40 lmc
40 dci
and 9mr without that 3 mr spell book.. 12 with it.
and +10 int (from the rune beetle)

i use a twink scim with 20 dci and mw -20 +fc and sc.
and i use the sam helm with the 15 dci and the conjurers robe with 5dci.

i also have the 1/2 chaos shield.

i like his setup.. but i want to try gargoyle so i can fly with the dragon.
