I have tried to solo these with my sampire and failed. I either get caught with the paralyse attack or just get beaten down within 10 seconds. I also get dismounted pretty quick. I use eoo and honor along with confidence.

I have a fairly standard template; the relevant skills to 115 or so. My suit is ok with resists in the 60's. I have 175 dex and 115 str. I use a radiant scimitar with max ml, ll and sl. Suit has 40 hci and max dci.

All help appreciated.

Drop some dex, get more strength for more HP. Ditch life leech for HLD/HLA. Get more HPI on items. Evasion and confidence. Consecrate often.

This is one of those where ninja might come in handy if you were a melee range (swords etc) sampire. Is the rockfall physical dmg like slasher?

Lastly I do it on my thrower. Leeching works fine, just stay outta range, either kiting on land or on a boat.

Used thrower before, just did one on my sampire. Found a 100 % cold leafblade at home, imbued it. Didnt think these things were that easy on melee.
Ai until out of mana, then 2 or 3 regular hits, then ai again. Used some refresh pots from npc.
Really no need for mirror images, they only cost alot of mana that you can spend for something useful.

Firstly, Dont really listento JD i mean after all she/he as just posted a picture of her/him cheating (minor cheat but killing from a boat like that is illegal).

Secondly, the problem is the weapon.

Drop the Scimmy and use either an ornate axe or leafblade.

Ornate will hit hard enough and leafblade hits for less but you can use faint.

Utilise the evasion when around half health (if your stam drops), if you have parry you should be able to throw a fair amount of chiv heals (with 0 casting) in dire situations.

Personally i use a swampy too...very easy to keep alive 90% of the time.

Killing from a boat is legal, as long as you can still take damage.

Nothing wrong with boat method, was even declared legal by Mesanna in some other thread. Since Hs came out , boats are used for other battles to, its very hard now to enforce such a rule.
Those blackrock golems are boring as hell, so any method to speed up the kill is welcome, complete your sets and continue to do something that is interesting.

Apart from that, whats wrong with [JD]. At least he is trying to be helpful to others here and most of the time he has some input that could be interesting to some people.

I did it on land the first time, kiting it around. Just took a little more "micro". Then I noticed all the people on boats killing them.

Would say they did make these things for your lumberjack sampire . Just find that 100% cold hatchet.

Hatchets are tough to get 100% elemental damage, because they're tinkered. Luckily, AI ignores resists!

Really didn't have a lot of success with the AI approach. I missed this thing a TON. Many times I would miss 5 swings in a row and have to move away to heal up. Also didn't help I had used a focus gem on my cold hatchet, so it was really tough to get any momentum with leeches. Although - I did hit a 319 AI on him.

Best success I had was running one client on my desktop and one on my laptop. Had to set some temporary macros. One button for use bandaid, last target, and one button for lightning strike. I had a couple 100% cold double axes with no slayer type assigned to them, so used those. 2 sec bandies was more than enough.

My best time was 16 minutes.

Only did a few of em, got bored, and went to PvP.

The amount of misses you had mirrors what I encountered while throwing, sometimes missing 6+ times. I'm running healing so don't need to rely on leeches if I miss too many times. I lored one with my tamer and it had like 160 MR and I remember 120's and 140s elsewhere in its skill list. Rewards seem kinda crappy so can't blame ya for doing something else.

I tried the BG's out this weekend. I have to say, I'm a little bit disappointed because you have to be a distance killer to really participate in taking them down. And I was going at them with several people.

I've played for 12 years, and I have a contemporary template and I know how to use my warrior character. These things owned me when they didnt even target me.

Quite disappointing... guess I need that 120 archer afterall! Anymore these days, you can't bash many of the high end stuff without getting your brain stomped out of your head.

Everyone has this problem with missing alot against them.
I dont know if it really helps or not, but i did made it a habit when i start to miss. Toggle another special or ls, cast a consecrate or confidence , move a step, just to force the streaky rng to roll a new number.
Think i have some success with that method, because sitthing there with that ai toggled and doing nothing seems to always get me those 4-6 misses as well.

Someone did claim 6-8 min on sampire on average. Didnt believe his numbers then. My not so good eqiupped thrower did manage 12min on average, did some on sampire yesterday and it did seem a bit slower then that, but in no case much faster.

With people seemingly tossing numbers out of their well... anyway, I went ahead and timed how long it took me to kill one.

With my archer, it took me a just over 14 minutes to kill one. I don't have a cold weapon for him, so I was spamming CW in addition to LS and AI when I could.

On my sampire (fencing), I do have a 100% cold weapon and put one down in 11 minutes.

After that, I logged on a 2nd account with a spell weaver and once they got into WoD range, I just backed off and nuked it.

14 minutes with a diamond mace, standard sampire template. I was having to cast consecrate weapon constantly, using a 100% physical weapon. Still not bad, considering there were times I was looking away from the screen and kept consecrate off for way too long, and I was missing quite a bit (even with 40 HCI + LS, 30 HLD, and 120 macing. what.)

Also, just adding to that. That one must have had extremely high phys resist, I was doing high 20s without consecrate, while the one I'm fighting now I do mid 50s without. I also did around 100 with consecrate on the first, and around 80 on the second.

All those numbers are with max perfection.
