Anyone do vampire ninja?

Just thinking. Would use shadow dancer legs, burglers bandana, and plus skill jewels so some skills would end up higher.

The question is what you want to do with such a char. If i would do this it would be
120 weapon
120 ninjitsu
100 tactics
99 necro
100 hiding
75 stealth
50 - 60 bushido to get perfection bonus
61 chiv for eoo or some spiritspeak for curse weapon / mana leech in wraith form.

120 ninjitsu for full benefit from mirror images , imho points into healing / anat are better spent to deal more damage .
But then, who needs hiding or stealth on such a char ? Fel spawns ?
I did try a variant with 40 necro / 80 ss and no chiv, was at least fun to play and something different. Did also work pretty well for a char with hiding and stealth.

I've actually been thinking about this a great deal.

I'm currently building my standard sampires on Atlantic, but the next shard I do I think I'm going to give this build a whirl.

So I guess its not really a vampire/ninja, its more of a stealthing wraith form dexer.

I would use a double axe for whirlwinding the champ spawn with hit area.

On the champ I kind of want to do what Logrus mentioned a while back and just spam shadow strike with a 2 handed axe. With enemy of one and a slayer weapon, it should hit pretty hard. Shadow strike gives a 25% damage bonus - but I'm not sure if that counts towards the 300% cap?

I tried something really close to that template on TC Lynk.

I really liked it, but not having bushido for feint/ls/confidence was not for me.
I didn't think shadowstrike did enough damage, but you tend to be more indepth than I do. I didn't really make an amazing suit or anything.

I really did like having a garg-thrower ninja with bakes though

Crushing blow and focus attack seem to add di separate from the 100 di from items and count towards 300% cap. Can just guess that shadow strike would be the same then.

the only problem with the super high ninja is in vamp form you can't ninjaform so one of the few reasons to have high ninja it is taken away. i'm not sure its worth being a vampire in pvp, if you leech 20% of a 35 pt AI its not that much health, a lesser heal would heal more. I did run vampire in PVP a few times, I did enjoy the no poison thing (as idiot newb mages would spam poison on me), enjoyed the extra MR, the leeches if monsters showed up.. etc... but have been experimenting without it as well. if you have it though i would def keep healing, relying only on leeches will get you in trouble.

I have added ninja (and not stealth or hiding) on my sampire however, I did it when I was a swordsman and would fight Navery, bane guards, or mephitis. Basically anything which hits like a brick truck or summons, then the mirror images are an excellent resource. but when i am not fighting them, i stone it off. i dont feel its a good enough of investment to keep on ALL the time, as I would keep on bushido.

lynk's idea of the shadowstrike is interesting, if anyone raids his spawn he can hide and stealth away even pushing through them in wraith. maybe even gank them one by one as they are fighting the champ. haha. also during the spawn it can kind of act like ghetto Peace in that he would constantly be hiding and getting aggro off himself. i'd be interested to hear more...

Make a Leafblade 20%SSI/Stam Leech/ Life Leech/Hit Lower Attack/ and either a slayer or DI (I'd do a slayer since you don't have honor)

Spam Focus Strike with a well timed Feint (weap will be 100% Stam Leech and like 120% life leech and 60-70's HLA)
20% TRUE Mana Leech for every hit.
Feint 50% Dmg Taken
No bleeds
Mirror Images if you want
Oh and put some HCI on your jewels.
I put all my DI on my wood armor/jewels/talisman.

Thats 740 points without the healing. Or 810 with 70 healing. Hard to do right i think.
Imho focus attack is not working correctly with at least life leech. Tested it several times against niporailem now. Weapon was a leafblade with 50+ life leech.
When hitting something for around 150 every swing, you should see life leech in the range of 0-45 hp. Did never notice leeches above 20 hp.
Didnt use video study to verify this, but did fights with and without focus attack and there was no noticable difference in the amount leeched.
Maybe the displayed numbers on weapon are wrong and the game engine is using other numbers or the hard cap for your weapon.

Its working fine for hitspells, hld,hla and i could verify around 35% di if not at cap.

I wouldn't doubt it's broken. I broke one of those new gargoyle weapons spamming it a while ago. I wanted to use that Abyssal Blade and get 120% Mana Drain/Fatigue and after a few times of doing it well the normally 60% Mana Drain was permanently at 0%. I had to page a gm to come and fix it to its original value.

I know the values of the skills, that's how my sampire's set up currently 810 skill cap max DI,DCI.

Didnt notice that before, wraith form is immune to bleed only on paper, in reality you bleed just fine.

Oh and weird stuff with that abyssal blade, did never happen to me.
