Also.. Factories, as this would most likely be in the Industrial Ages, add in a little steampunk to Ultima!

I like the idea of functional castles for Factions and NPC's using cannon that brake down like boats do but don't like the idea of muskets. maybe the very early hand cannons I think they called them.

Hey I am still waiting for the JUSTICE shrine to become activated...in the present UO & over all these years...where has been our judge, jury and court systems ?

Why is it us crafters, could never make hangin trees, guillotines *spelling* and torches to burn evil at the stake { after a trial and jury decision of our peers of course} lol ! I mean where has the JUSTICE been hiding for 13 + UO yrs. And...running off to go kill whom kills us, just hasn't cut it...over all these years.

I want my carpenter tinkerer tailors to be able to make wonderous DEAD MAN WALKIN hangin platforms and see em USED in UO...not like being punished with the death sentance for murdering will have any consequences...they can go get a RES...but sure would feel wonderful to be able TO HANG EM for their crimes just once !! *nicer still to be able to make the hangin gallows and PULL THE LEVERS !

yessssssss we need new craftin items like hangin gallows, guillotines, torches and burnin murderers at the stake ... & a court, a judge and *jury of our peers* ! Maybe our bards can learn a new UO tune, like the song 'HANG EM HIGH' or something ?

Be lots more fun than them burnin off counts or some forged pardon to loose a murder count *if they chose to bother to loose, a count they could then burn one...via some in game fun.. public hangin'. Be more fun, for us all but alas hard to do with no court, no justice, no hangin gallows in the crafter menus ! lol

Which was eventually retconned out by Ultimas III and IV. Garriott himself even said that he had just added a whole heap of different elements for fun and didn't really consider a proper connecting story and mythos until later.

It was only two games anyway. The World of Ultima series were spin offs that didn't take place in Britannia.

I actually quite like the steampunk genre and mixing magic with technology.

Btw we already have this, remember the LBR expansion? Golems/Exodus minions/overseers? Wasn't really Todd Mcfarlane's forte...

Oooh mixin magic and technology...gave me a nutty idea.

The Moonglow telescope, we should have someone named *regular ordinary customer playing UO, say only 1 playin customer named ...Draconi, be the only one to be able to mix some *magic* and *technology* via the Moonglow telescope.

Lil chr. ordinary customer of UO, named Draconi comes to Moonglow telescope and tries to see the moons, but he has some accident with magic and technology.

So he turns the never before moved around Moonglow telescope, using magics and technology and maybe some pyrotechnics. lol

And when he achieves accidently turnin the Moonglow telescope around the UO moons of Trammel and Felucca not only wax and wane...but the telescope moves the entire world around, when he moves it.

Thus trammel facet becomes felucca and felucca becomes trammel with some massive explosion, confusing us all for a day or so [or even only for an hour], as the facet we thought we were on... is waxed or waned with the feluccan and trammel moons, finding us, all suddenly... on the other facet, 'per facet' of us all !

ok ok it is just a silly magical techno pyro concept, I had flash thru my mind, with me morning coffee, regarding the Moonglow telescope that just sits there in stasis for yrs. on all shards all facets, doing nothing at all. Such an event would suck and be comic as heck too, especially ... on Siege. lol

We would all be singing an old UO parody song...' you're going to trammel' ! LOL
