reopened account making tamer

Evening! i just reopened my account after it being dead for years

i though i would make a new char. and decided to make a tamer... but nothing makes sense anymore in this game so i was wondering what skills i should have other then the taming stuff?

Provoke
With the new bard spells is nasty.

Stealth tamer

Taming

hiding
ninjitsu(just enough for lama form faster movement)
Herding

besides being effective,having some barding skills on your tamer makes playing a tamer more fun IMO.

tamer bard eh? i suppose i will give that a try! should i start with max taming/magery or are they not so hard to skill anymore?

I have 95 magery(with jewels)
Taming 120
Lore 120
Vet 120
Music 120
Provoke 120
Discord 120
I use skill jewels on some skills and have mana regen 25 to keep the insipre bard song going all the time, will be a pain to train taming, discord and provoke maybe a advanced char token will speed it up if you can get one.
I find this tamer with a real good greater is very powerfull for pvm.

A better question to ask is, what do you want from taming?

Do you want a pack of scorpions? 45 taming, 100 lore, 100 vet so you can rez and stuff and the rest of your skills will be wildly different from the peace tamers who just want to tame things and sell them.

Or do you want to be a mage or spellweaver, killing things without getting off your pet?

Or how about a disco tamer, soloing big bosses?

Or how about a warrior tamer? Archer tamer?

Do you have any goals with your tamer?

What do you want from taming?....

i used to have a mage tamer im pretty sure i dont want to be that again... killing bosses and hard stuff would be fun! its a bard tamer for that?

My bard template will only work in the enhanced client due to how fast you can equip items and jewelery, if your using the ec I can help you the classic client equips much too slow to make it effective switching items.

It could still be done in the classic just maybe without all the skill points im using or imbuing some nice skill jewelery.
