Redoing my Sampire-bard

Suit is (poor mans suit)

100DI 45HCI 25LMC 135hp 120stam 45 mana
Jewels - 10 music/disco 22di 13hci/12dci each jewel

Vamp form yada yada. Disco the monster and kill.

I recently came back to UO. and am thinking of making it a

Disco thrower wammy..or something.

any thoughts?
I love bard-warriors. I'm odd like that

If you decide to go ranged over melee I`d suggest Wammy. Only two draw backs no mount. & no swampy.

Regardless of what you do up the stamina. The only way I would even attempt 120 Stamina would be a fencer.

No abyss arties etc. yet and no money.

Is garg really worth it?

my only issue with wammy is hating having to use regs. lol

Currently I have
Human form

faction arties stormgrip/fey legs/ mace n shield /primer/ rbc with the glad collar.

but leaving factions.

Can you use animated legs of tinker and the Beserker Plate as a garg??
I think i can make this work

It's a really fun template. Probably can't do as much raw damage as others, but I like having disco

What do you need regs for? Just keep one or two pieces of LRC armor in your pack for turning into a wraith. Or you could care a set of full charged arcane boots. If you want to use curse weapon then just keep a stack of 20 pig irons on hand.

im really liking my thrower. had a fully decked out human sampire also, whole thing went to waste. at least i could soulstone my skills off and onto the thrower! im thinking of turning my former sampire into a miner. a scrolled out 120'd miner. lol (such a waste)

since you have less healing capability (pots+confidence+leeching) and no healing the ranged aspect works well. the only thing I have found is sometimes i would like whirlwind to get a spawn down faster so I will stone 120 swords on. but momentum strike with slayer and hit area can work ok too.

yeah i doubt ill ever take down the big bosses solo compared to an evade char etc. but this is a fun support char

I am starting to train up throwing. Kind of a pain.

Suit is pretty awesome, more mr than necessary, but a great friend made it for me so I'm not picky

If you do throwing whammy, wouldn't you be primarily chaining armor ignore? If so, is 200 skill points (+40 on jewels) invested to disco your target worth it?

Did never really think about making a disco warrior until i did see them in action.
Disco sampire with a leafblade killing demon guards like mongbats or that youtube video of a disco fencing wammy killing slasher in 20 min.
With a proper suit (leafblade or daisho ftw) such a char could kill some badass stuff really fast.

Actually its hard to tell what would work well, as it depends a lot on suit and what you want to fight. Would need some experimenting to find out.

With chiv on char , you dont get the full mana cost discount , so 60 ss are probably to low to chain armor ignore or double strike forever. Maybe every other swing.
For things that got a slayer, i would drop chiv and use 60 parry instead.

There are also ways to raise your damage increase near cap if you dont use enemy of one, crushing blow or focus attack can do that ( after perfection bonus ). With a hard hitting weapon, both could be devastating against a discorded opponent.

I tried it with SS as a wammy and it honestly kind of loses a bit of umph (in my opinion. I don't like wammy much)
