I agree enough with the chocolates.
My chars are drowning in gifts. Would be nice if there was some use for them once the novelty wears off.

Honestly, I'll be surprised if we get anything new. I fully expect a regifting from last year since the Dev Team has been rather silent since December.

Which means more storage problems..........
Lately it has been a nightmare with storage issues.
The Bane Chosen Event has the focus crystals inexplicably not stacking with each other, then we have the High Seas Booster which, with the fishing orders, it has also had an heavy impact on storage.
MiBs not stacking, tons of treasure maps from fishing also taking a toll on storage (when will we have Books to hold high quantities of treasure Maps like we have for Bulk Order Deeds ?), fishing poles newly created (full charges) also not stacking, tons of rare but not much useless fishing books etc.
It would be great if the devs did something conclusive to help players with the storage issues there are, through making all items that can be stacked as stackable, and also release containers for the many things which are not stackable like treasure maps, SoS, seeds, jewels etc. etc. but in the meantime, the very least could be not flooding the game with Holiday gifts which make the storage issues worse.....
Oh well......

Bug fixes and game development should be far ahead on the priorities list compared to valentines gifts. The graphic team has nothing to do with bug fixes, and game development they work on the graphics of UO. This would be like me calling the painters instead of the plumbers to come fix my leaking pipes.
Maybe these gifts are pointless to you, but these gifts are not pointless to me, and others who like me enjoy these gifts.
I wasn't suggesting they do. Perhaps they should retire some members of the graphic team and get some much needed help in the game development category?
I don't see how that would benefit UO and its players. I'm sure EA would just save a few dollars by not refilling the position(s) you suggest they should cut (while not adding any in the game development area).
In my original post, I was merely referring to that heart-shaped box of 24 chocolates that took up so much storage space because every one of our characters received one. Other than that, I like the gifts very much and look forward to them. It's a fun tradition.
I don't have anyone at all .... and I do like the gifts for Valentines... however I just wish that for a change the DEV's realized that the crap they give us should STACK.

No, they need retired just because they aren't very good at what they do. And its amazing that they supposedly have degrees when they can't even maintain proper perspective on their art in game.
I think that's very harsh (and inaccurate), although you are certainly entitled to your opinion.

No, it isn't inaccurate. They simply fail to maintain proper isometric perspective on in game items like legacy art has. Have you seen ANY artwork in the past few years? Honey, that's not an opinion... it is a straight up fact.
Yes, I have seen other artwork, all of which have their own particular flaws, just as UO has. But I'm not an art critic. I just love UO.

Just pointing out that, yes, you were wrong regarding my calling out the art as not being rendered in the correct perspective.
Whatever. I do find it puzzling, though, how many things seem to be issues for you... from artwork to ellipses. *shrugs*

None of them sit properly in the tile compared to legacy art and most of them are tilted the wrong direction as well.
This isn’t taking into account many of the art that’s imply screwed up, especially when viewed in the EC. (ruined tapestry, holiday garland)

I mean come on 1 of everything is fine. But do you really need to save all characters crap like this. Really?
7 accounts and all the chocolates for what like 154 lock downs.
Ask yourself this.... How often do you look at it? Where is it stored? Do I use it? If you answers are never and I don't know and no... trash it.
