Basically I built the suit around midnight bracers, Navery Night eyes and arcane shield. This freed up casting on one piece of jewelry.

DCI

10 Night eyes
5 Quiver
15 Arcane shield
15 Ring
5 Conjurers Garb
5 Tangle
5 Cogurs sash

Unfortunately I am somewhat dependent on Scrappers for a +10 eval. This is due to not enough room on jewels. I had to put 20 lrc on one of the jewels which bumped me out a property.

So overall I get to disarm/stun as well as sick a Vengeful spirit on dexers and no fail on 7th circle spells

TBH, i'd drop your med to around 80, and bump up your eval to 120 natural and magery up 9 points to 115.

If you feel you need mana and are out, you can toss on a 3mr book to help get you back up. It will depend alot on what you are doing. You could also get a wisp up, hop into wraith form for a few, lots of things. Plus, a free hand is great for pots.

For the last 2 or 3 weeks i've had a mage char that has been running 57 med, and in a big field fight i never have mana issues, so like i said, depends what you are doing. he has like 16mr and is human =/

Also, depending on if u want para/disarm or not, you could also run 100 anatomy instead of 120 eval (220 eval/anat combo) to have the same defensive effect, and save a few skill points.

Do you think you can break down what you are wearing a little bit? i have played around with this idea myself in the past and i think there are ways to get ur lrc/skills balanced where you need them

I've been switching around all of my mages across shards lately to something similar. Ever since mystic came out, parry isn't really needed as much.

I have usually 2 mages per shard. One of them I do Anat/Mystic/Focus and 60 points of med.

The other I do anat/spirit/necro with 60ish med. Sometimes I'll use the faction tome of lost knowledge for the extra skill points and put some more med on.

I was going to recommend switching from 120 wrestle to GM anat for max defense.

My skill increase mages either have the 10 SS 5 Necro tally or the Orcish Grammar tally for 5 resist 7 anat, and I use the aegis of grace for 20 DCI 10 resist skill (med version) It has more total intensity then the night eyes. Then the same shield and 1/6 jewel set with 10 SDI and like 30 or 40 total skill increase and DCI. In the end I could make
120 Eval
115 Mage
120 Resist
110 Med
100 Anat
105 Necro
100 Spirit
Was like 16 MR 40 LMC 70 DCI 2/6 +50 Skill 15% SDI but only 1/6 if you like to throw bolas... and no para shot or disarm :/
Can make a pretty sweet mystic suit out of it too if you switch the tally.

What talisman are you thinking about using as a mystic?
Or do you just mean not using a + skill tally?

I have GM med to get the med bonus from INT and MR items, without it I am afraid I will cripple the char. I tend to do a lot of combo's.

I am keeping Magery at 106 with no fail on 7th circle spells, So I have no fail on most offensive spells.

Using Modified 120 Wrestling for Disarm/Stun and plain old defense. This way I do not have to worry about a chain disarm, nerve, ds dexer to much.

LMC can be brought up with further imbuing. I thought maybe I could squeeze in more DCI, but the properties on the Bracelet just ate all the points up.

Orcish Grammar for 5 resist 7 anat

Orc brute is always nice for extra damage too.

Orc brute won't really offer you any damage boost if you're using an anat/eval mage.

The orc brute has a chance to connect when you connect with melee damage. Since anat/eval is purely defensive, your chances of connecting with your fist are pretty shabby.

Works on bleed ticks too. Wasn't sure about hit spells though. Figured harm spam w/orc brute summoned would be pretty mean, but if it works that way that sux :(.

I guess it might, I've never tried to harm spam someone with an orc brute before.
